Yum. This place was a great sandwich stop. We came later in the evening, so they were out of Turkey, but that was to be expected.
The staff was nice and offered great suggestions when we asked. Gave us honest opinions that ended with us having a delicious meal.
We both got the Rachel, but wanted to try different sides, so one of us got fries and one got the potato salad.
We loved everything. The servings are huge. We should have split a sandwich, but are happy for leftovers.
Our server said we have to come back for breakfast. Already agreed we’re going back next week.

Fluffy Matzo balls in a clear, flavorful, non-greasy broth - check! Crispy fries - check! Perfectly toasted sandwiches - check! Flavor for days - check! Crazy delicious pickles - check. ALL THE BOXES.

The only thing missing is a sprinkle of fresh dill on the soup. Am I complaining? *shrug*

And -of course- they have Cel-Ray. All the boxes.

Heard the raves, had to check it out. Their potato salad was unlike any I've had- in a good way! Sandwiches are huge, so bring your appetite or plan to share or take some home. Hearty portions of fries, too. Popular spot at lunch.

Enjoyed a great first visit today, the 15th of January. Our waitress recommended the Rachel sandwich, which was what I decided to try, along with a side of potato salad. Both are excellent choices. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal today and I will gladly return to sample more of the delicious fare here at Feldman’s Deli!

Amazing lunch! Had the 1/4 lb corned beef Reuben & it was fantastic. Probably one of the top 5 Rueben's I've had. The thousand island dressing is also delicious. The potato salad and French fries sides were also on point. The atmosphere is simple but cute. Service was good as well. I recommend the smaller portion of the sandwiches but be aware they aren't half sandwiches it's just half the meat.

Yeah, the best Reuben sandwich in the state debate was quickly ended here. The sloppy joe will slap you a good one. You could easily split it into two meals, but the bread is so good you just can’t put it down. It is like your body is saying no, but your taste buds are saying yes. The root beer and potato salad made the experience even more magical. Why can’t we have a Feldmans on the west side?

Woah. I’d never been to Feldman’s but I had heard that it was great. And man was that true. I got their signature sloppy Joe and I was honestly shocked at how good it was. The meat was juicy and flavorful, the coleslaw was creamy, but crisp. It was seriously crazy good. I would recommend sharing the Sloppy Joe. It’s just really dense. I got the potato salad as a side and it was good. But I’ll try a different side next time. And there will definitely be a next time.

SO GOOD, WHAT! Literally took a bite of my sandwich and was just smiling in disbelief. Had the Reuben combo (pastrami and corned beef).
Also had the Latke (potato pancakes) and a turkey sandwich. Everything was insanely good.
Also Chris was absolutely one of the kindest servers of all time, he had such a nice vibe and was just such a friendly person, he made the experience extra great! 12/10 would recommend

Surprisingly tasty matzo ball soup here behind The Zion Curtain!

I was also pleased to find beet horseradish for my hub's roast beef sandwich -- again, surprised but pleased. (P.S.: The sandwiches are large -- always nice to see.)

Came here for a breakfast sandwich and got 2 eggs over medium with provolone on a poppy seed bagel. Bagels are fresh, but eggs were made over easy (and over oversized). Very messy. I had also ordered a hot hibiscus raspberry tea, which was forgotten about so I had to wait slightly longer for the water to heat up. They weren't that busy, but only one person working the front. With tip, it was $18. Pretty overpriced.

I happily drive an hour for this Jewish soul food. Where do I even begin? Freshly baked bagels, great quality smoked salmon, which for Utah is a rarety. Motzo ball soup better than your Nana's and hot, succulent and delicious pastrami sandwiches that you'll dream about later. Run don't walk to this gem in Sugar house. Come hungry and try a little of everything. It isn't exactly Katz's on the lower east side. But it's the absolute finest Jewish deli on the East Bench. So go already!

Have you ever thought about taking a ton of peyote and walking into the desert on a vision quest to find your spirit animal? It's quite possible my spirit animal would be a sandwich from this place.

These are no ordinary sandwiches. The quality is high and the little details shine. Perfectly toasted rye, just the right amount of sauce, meat stacked high and neat. You get the idea. It's all pretty perfect.

Bustling atmosphere with friendly customer service. Inside dining, or you can kick it on one of the patio tables out front.

You'll definitely pay more for the quality- this

This place was in point. Walked in and was immediately helped. Saw I had two small children and immediately grabbed 2 high chairs. The place was jam packed but they got our order quickly. It's say our wait time was a little long but not too considering how busy it was, staffing issues across the country, and for the simple fact that things always seem longer when you have small children.

The food was SO good. Portions were jumbo and tasted so so good. I got the turkey and coleslaw sandwich and everything was perfectly hot and the bread nicely toasted.

Constantly on the search for a worthy sandwich to face the challenge of my ravenous belly, I stumbled upon the Rachel, a magnificent beast of a sandwich. While the quest for good sandwiches is an everlasting struggle, the Rachel has temporarily quelled the pangs of my stomach.

A twist on the traditional Reuben, this sammie has corned beef and pastrami, and coleslaw instead of sauerkraut. All of the ingredients were on point from the perfectly buttery crispy rye, juicy corned beef and pastrami bursting out, and even the cole slaw added some juicy freshness and crunch without making the bread soggy

Wow. I will keep this simple and to the point.
We hail from NYC. We have Katz, We have Second Ave Deli, we had Stage.

Because this place is not kosher, we believe it allowed for the Reuben to be that much more delicious than any corned beef sandwich we've ever had in our Jewish deli experience at home.

Feldman's is superb. Buttery toasted rye, beautiful melt in your mouth corned beef ensconced in Swiss cheese, and topped with sauerkraut and their special thousand island... perfection. The fries are delicious and crispy kissed with good oil and seasoning. The pickle was crunchy and

I ordered the sloppy Joe but took out the extra bread. Its was delicious! Only change I would make, just on personal preference, is toasting or griddle the bread for some crunch 😍 (there are other sandwiches that are toasted I just didn't look closely) Potato salad was fresh but I also had my friends fries 10/10 recommend haha! My friend also had the matzo ball soup, she raves about it! She's Jewish so that's saying something! It was my 1st time having it. It was full of flavor, hearty and definitely filling. I'm currently fighting off a head cold and dreaming of it now 🤤 the owner was so

Super great sandwiches!! This was our first time here, so we decided to split the "Rachel" sandwich, which is grilled and has Pastrami, Swiss, Coleslaw, and Thousand Island Dressing on Jewish Rye bread. The meat was tender and full of flavor, the dressing provided a nice creaminess, the grilled bread added a great sourness, all around a terrific sandwich. We also got a side of fries and potato salad, both tasty. The portions were HUGE. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back! 🥪
UPDATE: Went back and had the Trisha this time, SO GOOD!! Favorite sandwich place in the

I was a regular here many moons ago, before Covid and the service and food was on point. Staff has changed but the food remains the same quality. I brought my guy here who has only had pastrami in NY. We both ordered the Rachel combo. I don't like coleslaw but on this bad boy it's delicious. The sauce and cheese marry all the other items well. The bread was crunchy and buttery and the pastrami was the bomb. The fries are double fried and you get a good size serving. My guy was impressed and we plan to come back for more.

I came here for lunch last week with my cousin. She suggested it and I had never been before. It was pretty busy for lunch but apparently there is a line out the door for dinner most weekends (according to other family members). My dad also loves this place. The service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and it was a relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious. I ordered the Trisha with fries. I only ate half the sandwich and took the other half and most of the fries home. My little brother ate my leftovers and said the fry sauce was the best he had ever had. The sandwich bread was crispy and

Well that was AWESOME! I mentioned I was craving a Reuben sandwich and staff at IMC hospital said, "go to Feldman's!"
How have I lived in Salt Lake City for YEARS and YEARS and missed out on this gem? I'll start making up for lost time!
I got the Reuben combo which includes corned beef & pastrami, thousand island, sauerkraut & coleslaw with Swiss on rye. Yes, that is the sandwich you want when you want it all! I could not pass up taking a couple of pieces of their GORGEOUS and dense coffee cake for tomorrow morning. I chose coconut coffee cake, and mixed berry coffee

Mouthwatering, monsterous meals!

What a find! To think just minutes away from my house was sitting the best deli sandwich I've ever had! These aren't your traditional Reuben, coleslaw, or potato salad, no these are monsterous meals packed with flavor. No joke I had no idea what true pastrami tasted like, but one bite and my tastebuds were in heaven. I had the rachel with the side of potato salad and my husband enjoyed a mighty Reuben with fries. Both sandwiches were a match made in heaven. We were so full and happy that we didn't have room for dessert (just an excuse to come back

Forget what you know about The Sloppy Joe!
This is The Sloppy Joe from Feldman's Deli
I had the privilege of sitting down and sharing a meal with Michael Feldman today. It was really cool to find out the history behind this sandwich and how it came to be. Easily the best Pastrami sandwich I have ever had in my life.

He also surprised me by making a donation to help us grow!

When a local restaurateur believes in our mission enough to give their hard earned dollars to the cause, that makes everything we have been doing and building over the last two years more than worth it.

Go and support

* Ordered the Reuben Combo ($16) and the Pickle Plate ($5).
* The reuben was fantastic: the buttered toasted Rye bread was crispy, the pastrami was tender and moist, the corned beef was very good - an epic sandwich.
* The pickles were very good.
* The potato salad was good.
* I highly recommend a visit if you crave this deli food.

* Suggestion for improvement: service was lackluster, somewhat inattentive, forgot to bring knife after requested, no one picked up check/credit card - however, I never expect good service in a NYC deli, so this is authentic as well! =XD

We decided to stop at Feldman's immediately after flying in. It's our first time in SLC, so we definitely want to get the full culinary experience here! Feldman's was the perfect place to kick it off.

Since I don't particularly enjoy red meat, I got the turkey Reuben. My fiancé got a pastrami Reuben. We both LOVED our sandwiches. For mine, the cole slaw was super creamy with a hint of sweetness. My fiancé couldn't stop saying "this is soooo tasty" as he was eating his.

Also, the FRIES! So crispy and yummy. They give you a very generous portion of fries that
