As a DJ, Nixx been on the scene since 2008, but she grew up around music her entire life, especially in dance or singing. At age 10, her mother taught her how to use turntables on their old Technics, with, in particular, Michael Jackson's "Off the Wall" and Stevie Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life" records.
3/19/2021: Laura did amazing! She even checked in on us during dinner to make sure everything was going well! She had great transitions and even made some last minute changes to some of our dances morning of. Nikki was great to communicate with and they made it very easy to create and share our playlists and have a great plan of action for day of!

I was initially impressed with DJ Nixx’s passion and enthusiasm yet chill and accommodating vibe. We were sad to not have DJ Nixx at our wedding (but very excited for her new baby) and relieved to have still had a wonderful experience. DJ Nixx set us up with DJ Chris Roxx and it was an incredibly smooth transition ensuring no stress or additional work on our end. Most importantly, DJ Chris Roxx absolutely crushed it at our wedding, the dance floor was filled all night, he accommodated requests, and he even shared some amazing candid videos he took (without anyone noticing) after our wedding.

DJ Nixx is hands down the most talented, easy going, helpful, up to date, most professional DJ we’ve ever met. My husband and I originally wanted a live band to play at our wedding, but we are SO glad we came across DJ Nixx and made the decision to book her for our entertainment. Nikki was an absolute dream! I got so many compliments on the music at our wedding and a few guests asked for her info to possibly have her at their weddings! My one big request from her was that she keep our guests on the dance floor and boy did she deliver. I don't think we, or our friends, have ever danced so hard or for so long all our lives. She is an easy recommendation to make! Book her! You won't be disappointed.

We would recommend DJ Nixx entertainment to anyone. Nikki connected us with DJ Helios and our wedding could have not been better.
DJ Helios is bilingual and she helped us keep all of our guests informed in Spanish and English.
She captured everything that we wanted for the music and helped us bring traditions from my home country (Venezuela) into our wedding. Simply explaining what we wanted and providing some sample songs she captured exactly what we envisioned! We had about 95% of our guests constantly on the Dance floor! It was the best party ever and it was all thanks to them!

We've certainly never planned a wedding before, nor needed to book a DJ to entertain for such a large event. Regardless, Nikki and DJ Liz Ladoux were an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. We had seen DJ Liz perform at a friend's wedding previously and knew she had real talent. Her song selection, ability to read the room, and amazing transitions were all spot on. A few months before the wedding, I had a pleasant intro call with Nikki who is both the owner and a DJ. It was very easy to talk with her and she showed a welcomed depth of knowledge about what we would need for our Berkshires

We hired Nikki to DJ our wedding a couple of weeks ago, and she did a phenomenal job! She touched base with us plenty of times before the wedding to confirm song lists and preferences. She was very flexible, willing to accommodate our level of comfort in selecting the music. She’s fun, energetic, and definitely knows how to get the party started! Several of our guests told us they had a blast at our reception, specifically complimenting DJ Nixx. Nikki knows how to read the crowd and keep the energy up. We highly recommend her services.

If I could, I would give DJ Nixx one thousand stars! Thanks to her, our wedding was the dance party of our dreams! She was really easy to work with in the months leading up to the wedding - incredibly personable, professional, and all around super cool. She answered all of my (sometimes ridiculous) questions and had great suggestions when I needed them. At the wedding, I lost track of how many guests said she was the best DJ they had seen! She was everything we could have asked for in a DJ, taking our “mood playlist” and special requests and turning them into an amazing night that got everyone on the floor and dancing until the venue kicked us out. We had multiple guests tell us it was the most fun they had ever had on a dance floor and raving about Nikki after the fact.
