They are designed to provide excellent back, shoulder and neck support using hypoallergenic foam mattress, micro-spring technologies and adjustable slat suspension systems. Our sleep systems are designed and manufactured by the largest Austrian bed system manufacturer which has been in business for 55 years.
Similar to the honeycomb, the surface of the Quattroflex Slat Bed Suspension System consists of many individual building-blocks, called Pods. These pods rest on bed slats that intelligently flex to shape your body for the most comfortable sleep. Each honeycomb consists of multiple hexagonal-shaped cells which mutually reinforce each other and provide an open-air environment.

If you have a coil-spring mattress with a box spring, you can remove your mattress and place our suspension on top of a box spring. The mattress is then placed on top of the suspension. Usually the height of our bed suspension plus our mattress equals the height of a coil-spring mattress (9-14 inches).

We bought out Axel Bloom bed 2 years ago after doing quite a bit of research and have been seriously happy with it since day one. But this review isn't about the bed's fantastic quality and incredible comfort, or the purchase process, which was every bit as personalized and professional as other reviewers have described. Instead, this is about 2 years after. As per instructions, we wash the mattress cover once a year and today (Jan. 3, 2022) was the day for washing no. 2. But when I went to unzip the cover on one of the Calif.King mattresses, the metal zipper piece came off the nylon zipper teeth

Fantastic, the experience was like time warp back to the days of personal service and pride of ownership. I have not had this experience in the last 20 years. There is a wide variety of choice of firmness and ample opportunity to try them all. Yong is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of his products from production, materials, construction, etc. Service and follow up was perfect. 9 years agoI bought an Axelbloom adjustable bed . The experience was quite remarkable due to the amazing customer service. Yong and Bonnie were incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. Since then I have had occasion to need service. Yong responded to my concerns immediately. My bed was repaired in less than 24 hours!
The Axelbloom bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced. I recommend it without reservation....and I can't say enough about the excellent service provided by Yong Lee!

I purchased a bed from Yong at Axel Bloom at the beginning of COVID-19 in Late March. I was scheduled for a surgery that was considered elective but medically necessary. From the 1st phone call all the way through helping me with my install, this place is AWESOME. Their engineering is wonderful. We have a Class C motorhome and wanted the same experience of our beds at home, while on the road. Our beds at home we split and both adjustable, feet and head. Yong and his team design beds that we were able to install a short queen SPLIT fully adjustable bed with remotes. Thanks Axel Bloom for the home away from home beds. We love them.

My wife did some research and located Axel Bloom on the internet. We contacted Yong and received enough information to make us feel good about their product. This is only the beginning of my experience.
Yong was insistent on knowing the details of the construction of our RV and needed several measurements to custom make a split queen bed for us. He notified us when the bed was about to ship, and asked me to call him when it arrives so he can walk me through some of the finer points of the bed installation.

This review is long overdue.. Many many years ago, after another episode of lots of work, int'l travel, and a lower back ache, that did not go away, I decided to bite the bullet, and look for a better bed. We first purchased adjustable beds and mattress from Young and Betty. They were very helpful and we've been really pleased with the quality. We went back and purchased a custom bed frame after our remodel was finished. Young took a a lot of time to pick a veneer that matched our kitchen cabinets. He also modified dimensions to our liking. The bed turned out great and is a highlight of our new house. The quality and service offered are top notch.

Was in need of a new bed. I've tried temperpedic, sleep number and no luck. I was open to experiment with a new brand. I was on the bed forums and came across the austoflex mattress and saw that axel bloom in Los Angeles was a retailer in the US. After reading lots of reviews I gave it a shot in the dark and bought one. I had read lots of positive reviews on Yong, the business owner and gave him a call. Sure they're expensive. Yes, they're the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced. But owner Jong Lee is unique person who stands by his excellent product; friendly, outgoing, patient, and accommodating.
We had an issue with a transformer that controls the bed motion on the unit purchased in 2014. I expected to ask Jong to send me a new one and that would be that. Not Jong. He immediately called me back and insisted on replacing it himself. Within three hours, he and his technician had driven from Westwood to Thousand Oaks and fixed it themselves. Really?! Who does that today?

We loved our Tempur-Pedic mattress but thought it was time for a change. After lots of research, we found our way to Axel Bloom. Very happy we did.
Yong and Bonnie (the owner/operators) are brilliant. Such a lovely team to deal with, all the way from purchase through setup, and most importantly, after-sales support. Wow. I just walked out of this store and feel enlightened. The owner is a straight shooter, and a natural born educator. It is truly refreshing and entertaining speaking to him; the kind of guy you'd feel lucky to be seated next to at a dinner party. This was the first stop on our search for a couch, but you quickly see that what is being offered here doesn't have much in the way of competition. I hope to be a (repeat) customer of his in the near future.

So, for the past 9 months, my husband and I have been sleeping on the first version of the sleep number bed. As time has gone by, the bed required us to adjust the firmness of the bed on a day basis. Over the past few weeks, the firmness we set did not even last through the night. After sleeping on a "deflated balloon" for about two weeks, we took the suggestion from a very good friend and visited Axel Bloom in Westwood, CA.
