Uptown Eyecare in Hunters Creek, Orlando, FL, has been treating patients for more than forty years. We began as a family eye care facility with one optometrist and have grown into an eye care practice with several optometrists treating families like family. We provide comprehensive primary eye care and routine eye exams which are an essential part of eye health maintenance.
Dr. Christopher McCann was born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. He achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from North Carolina State University. He achieved another Bachelor of Science degree in Vision Science and then his Doctorate of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2007.

My family and I has been going for several years. The doctors are great. All the office staff is incredible. Tana and Lindsay are beyond incredible! Always helpful and go above and beyond The eye glasses selection is very nice. You can find name brand and the newest styles They have some old school if that’s your thing.

My visit at Uptown eyecare was the best experience I've had when it comes to eyecare. The staff provided exceptional customer service from beginning to end. The Dr. was very detailed when it came to explaining the exam results. I will definently recommend this place and continue to make uptown my permanent eyecare center. Writing a review is an entire chore. It takes time and patience out of our daily lives....but every once in awhile you'll have such a positive or negative experience that you won't mind doing the chore. This is one of those occasions when I don't mind doing this chore because Uptown Eyecare is legit guys and gals!!!

I lost my only pair of glasses a few days ago, and the prescription was over 2 years old, so I needed a new one. I called yesterday, and was able to get an appointment for today. The eye exam was quick and efficient (the doctor was very pleasant and made it a breeze), and I was able to get to looking for new frames quickly. Their associate, Eli was a huge help, and she's super sweet and funny. They had a pretty large selection from a ton of brands, and between their discounts if you pay out of pocket and my insurance covering my first pair (I got another as a backup), I was able to buy try a ton

Overall what an amazing experience! Brianna was amazing and accommodated every request making sure I was not only satisfied with my eyewear, but that I felt comfortable with my purchase before I left as well. Well we'll where to start.... The location is fabulous and the inside is so beautiful! I loved the staff and how kind they are and helpful. I don't wear glasses only my daughter it they always make her feel so welcomed. Quick to give her an appt and no problems. Doctor Moralas is our favorite of course but I highly recommend any on site! We'll be back for sure

Been a patient of Uptown Eyecare along with my family for years! We just moved over to Lake Nona and are so happy they opened a location 3 minutes from us. We were a little nervous since we loved the staff from HC but are pleased to say that between both locations everything is consistent! Dr. Macan was here as well and will be going between both offices which is nice.
I love the options of glasses and sunglasses they have and they clean every pair before and after you try them on. They are patient and do not rush you at all!
