Jim Gray has been in the event industry in Houston for over 26 years and most notably as Social Catering Service Manager at the Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa for 18 successful years. From there, he took his stellar client relations experience to Cartier, where he was on the opening team of the new River Oaks District Flagship Boutique.
During that time, Jim realized he was missing his passion for event planning and made the decision to return to his true calling. As a result, Grayhouse Events Atelier was born. Jim prides himself on his attentive client relations and is thrilled to call many of his former clients, as far back as the beginning of his career, his friends and biggest supporters.

I do not have enough words to describe how amazing Grayhouse Events Atelier are at wedding planning. We were new to Houston and did not know any vendors or locations that would suit our dreams. Since, I already had my dress picked out, all I had to do was show Jim a picture and he immediately knew the tone, colors, and vision I had for my wedding. We had a lot of out of town guests, so we turned one night into a weekend affair. The guests were amazed and had a blast, people still talk about our wedding and rehearsal dinner (almost 3 years later). I even had a guest who was getting married a few

The Grayhouse team is AMAZING! Do not hire anyone else. They will do an amazing job and the money you pay to them you will get back because they will get you so many discounts. The vendors they recommend and work with are the best of the best. I can't say enough good things about the Grayhouse team. His vendors will do anything for Grayhouse and it will make your wedding day so perfect because they all work so well together and go out of their way to make him/you happy. My wedding was a spectacular dream and it is because of the Grayhouse Team!
Most brides can’t say this…I had ZERO stress while planning the wedding and was able to thoroughly enjoy my day. I mean it…ALL of it! It was absolute bliss. Jim and his team are supremely organized, responsive, extremely kind and can’t leave out super fun! Their attention to detail is like no other. They executed my exact vision for my wedding and the guests are STILL talking about how stunning everything was! Also, one heck of a party that has been talked about for years!

There are no words that can express how much we enjoyed working with Jim Gray and his team at Grayhouse Events Aelier.
When we hired Jim back in January of 2020, (pre Covid-19) to do our daughter’s wedding, we knew immediately we were getting someone special, but never could we have imagined what a jewel we got. Jim’s patience, understanding and support were unbelievable. Seriously, UNBELIEVABLE!
Through all the Covid-19 changes and pivoting we had to do he and his team remained calm, cool, and collective therefore giving us such a feeling of calm always. They never showed stress or frustration

I have worked with Jim and his team on numerous occasions and I really can’t speak any higher of them, always. They are across the board professional, kind, prompt, considerate, hard working, and just lovely, fun people! I would highly recommend them to anyone for any occasion. In town or out!
