I was very impressed with Lyle environmental services. I was familiar with their work when they did a mold and asbestos remediation job at my place of employment. They were very professional, trustworthy and affordable, and I didn't hesitate to use them at my house. They answered my questions, and made sure I knew what was going on throughout the process. This team did exceptional work. We bought an old house as a fixer upper in 2019 and of course only after we moved in to our home did we understand that the tiling in our basement was asbestos. Our basement after that point was always a source of anxiety, so I can't even describe how it amazing it felt to have a professional team of this caliber come to our home and give us peace of mind after living with this cloud over our heads. Yikes found out that asbestos was wrapped around the duct boots going into the registers!! Contacted Tom with Lyle and he inspected and advised that the boots needed to be replaced or sealed. I elected to have the boots with the asbestos removed. Tom arranged with a contractor that could fabricate the new boots after they were removed. It was so impressive that the entire job on 4 townhouses was done in one day! I'm very grateful with the professional and efficient work done by Lyle Environmental and Tom was the best. Complete transparency. They came out and gave me a free quote to remove some asbestos flooring and mastic. Moved forward and had it removed but the air testing was done in another room specifically when we asked for it to be done in the work area. So while they didn't do it like we asked they were very apologetic and put us at ease with our concerns about the asbestos. They were fast and efficient but definitely appeared to do it the right way. Communication was great throughout and even with that hiccup I wouldn't hesitate to give them my business again. The exterior of my house was covered in asbestos siding material and since I'm doing an extensive remodel it had to be removed. After contacting several other companies and getting price quotes out of this world, I contacted Lyle and as soon as I spoke with them, I knew I should have called them first. They were very knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my questions. I was a bit panicked -- asbestos is a scary word! -- but I found Lyle though a search and the previous reviews were good. I couldn't be happier. First of all, the office manager was very kind and understanding of my fear, and let me speak to owner Tom right away. Tom was equally kind. We use multiple testing services and hired them to demo and remove material. Lyle was always professional, prompt and exceptionally fairly priced. Called because I had asbestos in our basement and needed it removed in order to get a new furnace installed. They came out and quoted the job for free and did the work the next week. They were on time, wohoo, we said 8 am and they were there at 8, not the usual 4 hour appointment window as with some companies, and they were done within just a few hours and left the place clean. We were very happy with the job they did.
