Very professional staff. Communicated updates regularly and I even showed up to a brand new car I didn't recognize was mine at first. They detailed it and even cleared out an extra dent on my car that wasn't related to the accident. They also exceeded expectations in their timeline of completion by finishing my vehicle 7-days earlier than expected. The owner Chris is exceptional when it comes to customer service. He delivered exactly on what he promised. I love his no-nonsense approach to doing business and his honesty and integrity are unparalleled in the industry. This shop was a referral from another reputable business and was just as advertised. The job, quoted in the thousands elsewhere, cost nothing here, because attaching a piece of plastic (stone/air deflector/valance) is really as easy as it sounds. I had to take my car in for body work due to a hit and run. Body Shop Express was able to fit me in for an inspection and get the work done right away. They were professional and understanding when I needed to reschedule due to my rental car plans falling through.
Body Shop Express had a quick turn around time, did a great job on repairing the damage, and cleaned both the outside and inside of my car before returning it!
Definitely recommend coming here if you need repairs done on your car!

Hands-down best auto body shop in the Point Loma/OB/sports arena area! I'd even say the best one in San Diego! The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and respectful, the work done was excellent, and everything was managed very quickly. Nothing that you might fear from a body shop and everything you could hope for! Plus I love that they are owner operated, not a chain, these people care about doing a good job because their name is on the line. I had never heard of this particular body shop before my car was rear ended and my insurance company, Geico recommended body shop Express. I was told that by Geico that this is one of their guaranteed auto body shops meaning my satisfaction is guaranteed with the results.
Just picked up my vehicle the other day and so far I am very satisfied with the work they did! Vehicle was returned to me clean and in much better condition than when I brought it in. Would recommend body shop Express.

Seriously cannot express my gratitude to Chris and his team more. It's never fun going into a car repair place when you're a single girl and feel like you'll get ripped off but Chris and his team went above and beyond. Saving me over $2000 from a previous estimate (I couldn't go through insurance because it had been too long).
They even gave me a ride back when I dropped off my car, cleaned my car inside and out & my car was out of there in 2 days!

I cannot possibly say enough good things about this shop and Mr. Christopher O'Neill. This is the second time that I have taken my car to them for work and, to say that they have gone way above and beyond, is a huge understatement.
My 2010 Honda Element had a cracked part that was no longer available from Honda, so these guys repaired it and now there is no trace of any prior damage. Additionally, the detail that they did on my car was absolutely outstanding - I could actually eat a meal off my engine...!!

I am so impressed with this company. I brought my Jeep in for an estimate in 2019 to repair a hole someone put in my fender while I was parked. Their quote came back quickly and was very competitive against other high rated body shops. After a year and a half, I finally got the work done. Within 3 business days, the parts were in. I dropped off the car and it was ready the next day. When I picked it up, it looked as good as new, and B.S.E. even cleaned it up for me! I will 100% use this shop for any future work, though I hope that isn't needed! ;)

Got in an accident back in September & Body Shop Express was a shop that was covered under my insurance. From the beginning, George was helpful & easy to communicate with. I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to cars but he went as far as to speak to my dad about what they needed to fix & replace so I felt more comfortable with the process. A fantastic experience from beginning to end, to repair our damaged car from somebody who had backed into it. Recommemded by USAA, we were driven to Enterprise to pick up the rental, they had the car perfectly fixed in 5 days and took care of returning the rental for us. I live in a condo here in San Diego. I walked out to my car and was shocked to see someone had hit my car and left! My subaru is white and the car that struck me was apparently red. I called the closest auto repair place to get an estimate. That shop was Body Shop Express located at 3777 Gaines Street, San Diego. I pulled in and was instructed to wait in the seats out side. My husband and I sat out side for 20-25 minutes. The service man drove my car around and handed me my keys. Got a referral here as the best auto body repair guys in town, by my local car mechanic. Glad I called and asked them for a referral. Neighborhood referrals truly are the best.
Chris and his team did an AWESOME job on my 07 Lexus GS. Far and above expectations. Fixed a huge bumper gash in the front, and tuned up all around with touch up and small fixes, a full clean and detail, making the car look almost brand new (13 year old vehicle mind you). Blown away.
Cannot recommend this shop and their craftsmanship highly enough. A++ work. Thanks again Chris!!!!

Once again quality workmanship , friendliness and on-time service! They are a cut far above any other body shop I have used. Picture does not show the damage but it was extensive down the entire side of the Ford and the wheel. Looks better than it did before the accident. This is THE place to have your body work done.
