Education scholars have shown that incorporating music and art programs into our children's lives is critical if we want our children to become well-adjusted, successful adults.
Do Re Mi helps to develop many important valuable life skills including cognitive reasoning, social skills, responsibility, team work, time management, leadership, public speaking, and many, many more. Our approach is all about the students taking responsibility for their individual parts while becoming invested in the goal of delivering a quality group performance.

Services
Show choir is the combination of song and dance within a performance. Our show choir classes gradually increase in level of difficulty, challenging our students as they grow older, and allow them to experience a wide variety of song and dance. Our Spring semester ends with a performance at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts in a beautiful 850 seat theatre with full costumes, hair, and make-up.
Musical theatre performances combine song and dance with spoken dialogue and acting. Our musical theatre classes give students the opportunity to learn and refine their skills in these areas in a safe and fun environment while practicing for the end result: a musical theatre performance!
In this introduction to musical theatre, students will perform short versions of musical theatre classics in a workshop setting, while gaining a foundation in acting, singing and dancing.This group of dedicated performers produce more advanced and challenging musical productions, in a workshop environment, while gaining a foundation in acting, singing and dancing.

Our Fine Arts camp will give your little one professional instruction in theatre, music, dance and art. Our emphasis is a comprehensive introduction to the fine arts in a fun, creative environment. The camp culminates with a full production of theatre, song and dance. Taught by Lindsey and Michael Calvoni, this 3-week intensive summer camp immerses students in a hands on musical theatre experience.
If you've never taken a class at Do Re Mi before, we want you to see what we're all about and what makes us unique! There's no obligation to register and the trial class won't cost you a thing. Simply contact us and let us know that you'd like to attend a trial. Students do not need any previous experience, with the exception of our elite high school touring show choir, Encore.

WE LOVE Do Re Mi School of the Arts. Our girls have all participated and have had an incredible experience. They get to explore singing and acting in a fabulous, inclusive environment. They give the kids a great opportunity to participate in different roles and explore the different aspects of being in a play or musical. The owners are such amazing people and we are grateful to have them lead our kids at Do Re Mi. HIGHLY RECOMEND - it is an incredible place to be.

The Do Re Mi school of the arts put on a wonderful summer camp. They take kids from the beginning of production to the end so kids can learn the entire process. Our son really enjoyed, there was before and after care available. The best part was the production in this case Oliver. It was super cute and entertaining! Highly recommend!

Both of my daughters participated in the Do Re Mi Fine Arts Camp this summer & had the best time! Whenever I would pick them up they didn't want to leave! I could tell they were learning new skills, building friendships and having a ton of fun. The performance(s) at the end of camp are the icing on the cake- so happy I chose a camp where I could see at the end everything they had been working on throughout the 3 weeks of camp. They both had wonderful things to say about Lindsey & Michael and the camp counselors. Highly recommend Do Re Mi School of the Arts!

A friend recommended this program so we decided to give it a try. My child attended the summer theater camp and it was so above and beyond my expectations- seriously impressive with the positive energy, fun, and extras they planned. My daughter and son both had an amazing experience in their hip hop, singing, and theater classes. Very positive and uplifting environment. You can tell that the owners absolutely LOVE what they do, and their spirit pours into their teaching. Would highly recommend for a noncompetitive, accepting, and loving environment.

My daughter has been a member of Do Re Mi for two years now. She LOVES the energy and enthusiasm Michael and Lindsey put into every student and every performance.
