Dr. Shalev received his undergraduate education at the University of Toronto and Tel Aviv University. He received a BS in Nutritional Science and an MS in Middle Eastern Studies. Dr. Shalev then went on to attend medical school at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.
After graduating in 2000, he completed a three-year residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and a one-year fellowship in wound care at St John's Medical College.Dr. Shalev has hospital affiliations with Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, St John's Medical College, Mountainview Hospital, and Summerlin Hospital Medical Center.

To ensure your convenience, below is the information you need about our podiatry office, including our hours, location, appointment scheduling and insurance acceptance. If, for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment or will be delayed, please call as soon as possible. Charges may be incurred for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment time.
During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. We accept most insurances. List of current prescriptions and/or over-the-counter medication, including dose and frequency. You are responsible for co-payments or charges that are not covered by your insurance.
Dr. Shalev is attentive and pays attention to every detail involved with keeping my feet healthy. Dr. Shalev provided me with expert advice and care after I broke a toe on my left foot following a fall while rehearsing for a musical. He informed me clearly of the possible outcomes and made sure I was comfortable and knew how to take precautions until I was able to get x-rayed to confirm the diagnosis.
I am a caregiver for my grandpa where I take him to his appointments. About every 9 weeks we go to his appointments at Complete Foot & Ankle Care. Every time we have been he has been given beyond excellent care. The receptionist recognizes Charles every time he comes, greeting him with a smile and hello!

My father went in for typical appointment for getting feet treated and the Dr Shalev noticed that my dad might actually have a bigger problem than just calluses on his toes. He sent my dad to get an exray on his foot and said bring the films right back. We did and he said my father had a bone infection. He personally called a surgeon who fit us in two days later and determined a toe amputation would be the best remedy. Later that week my father had the procedure...Dr Shalev ordered home wound care...followed up regularly after the surgery and my father who is 87 is playing golf pain free without

I made an appointment with ease and was in to see Dr. Shalev within a couple days. Dr. Shalev took a look a my issue and gave me comfort as to what was taking place. Went simple first, with orthotics and subsequently a cortisone shot. I just so happen to have some time off my feet to allow my heel to heal and manage the issue over time. I play a lot of tennis and it's likely I'll be managing my foot pain for life but I know I have a knowledgeable Dr. on my side and that comes with a plan to allow me to play tennis well into my senior years :)

There are not enough complimentary words that I can say to describe my experience with Dr Shalev and his office manager, his wife Devorah.
I have had a very large splinter in my foot for the last 10 days.We have simply not had time to go to urgent care or anywhere else to get it removed and I just kept soaking it and hoping that it would find its way out. Instead it just went deeper and became more painful and made it almost impossible to walk. I called these amazing people and they had me come in within 48 hours.
Dr. Shalev is so experienced and so precise that when he injected the pain reliever

When I first walked into this office i could barely be on my feet half of the day without excruciating pain. Dr. Amir has the knowledge and no-nonsense attitude that I needed to fix my issue. After 2 visits I have zero pain and have been able to resume my normal activity levels, even my 3 mile nightly walks without issue. Everyone in this office is friendly and professional and I couldn’t have had a better experience. I never waited long to see the doctor either, which is a huge plus! Thanks to this office I have a new lease on life!

Dr. Shalev and his staff are absolutely incredible. They make sure to always carve out time specifically for the one patient they have scheduled and they never double book or over book like most doctors in town. On top of that the care and attention Dr. Shalev provides is second to none.

I had never had a better experience at any other foot care facility. The whole staff and was doctor was very professional. The custom orthotics they made are fitted perfect for my feet. In the past I've tried over the counter insoles that die in 2 months. I have had surgery, physical therapy and nothing has worked to take my pain away from my feet. My custom orthotics are the best thing that's happened to my feet since my surgery 10 years ago. It's almost like I got a new leg. Couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has feet pain.

Dr. Shalev is my favorite Podiatrist and I’ve been to many of them. He takes the time to listen to my issues and explains everything in detail. He took away my ankle pain and I call him my “miracle doctor”. He is caring, personable and has excellent bedside manners. He and his staff are great team!
