For over 35 years, Gymstrada Gymnastics has been building friendships and creating champions in the Hampton Roads area. Offering recreational and competitive gymnastics for boys and girls Gymstrada has a program for your child. In addition to recreational and competitive gymnastics, we also offer parent and toddler classes, and private lessons.
Gymnastics classes at Gymstrada are designed to give each student a solid foundation in the sport. Our method of teaching is what we term, the "Developmental System". Students will receive training to improve both their physical abilities and their gymnastics skills. Physical ability training involves important components of gymnastics.

Services
Our professional coaching staff consists of former gymnasts, dancers, acrobats, and educators with years of coaching experience. All of our coaches are USA Gymnastics professional members and maintain current safety certifications and background checks. Nic coaches Levels 7 - 10 and is the girl's optional team head coach.
Gymstrada offer girls and boys competitive gymnastics from developmental through the elite levels. Our gymnasts follow the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Program, as well as train to compete in high school competition, and the VA All Stars Optional Program. Many of our gymnasts have become State champions, have competed in national and regional competitions, and earned spots on collegiate teams throughout the country.
Our Recreational Classes are designed to provide gymnasts with exposure to all of the Olympic events, as well as build confidence, increase flexibility and strength, and grow friendships. A typical 1-hr class will include at 15-minute warm-up followed by 3 rotations of 15-minutes each. Events not covered in a class will typically be covered in the next class.
Parking: Please do not park in the CITGO gas station/Arrowhead Food Mart parking lot that is across the street from the gym. Please use our parking lot. If our parking lot is full, please park in the parking lot that is BEHIND the Arrowhead Food Mart. This parking lot is about a 30 second walk to the gym's front door.

We hope you have had a wonderful competition season thus far and that you continue your success at this competition. Individual and All-Around awards will be presented to each age group at the conclusion of each competitive session.

My 6 year old son is loving Gymstrada so much that he wants to go daily! It is well organized, active, and fun. They rotate stations so the kids don’t get bored, and I’m impressed with how much he learned in just the first class. There are no hidden fees and it’s month to month so very little commitment. Exactly what we were looking for!!

I love this place, my son is almost 4 and he doesn’t do well with rules, but the coaches all manage to tolerate him. Coach Nick is our favorite he is very nice and understanding. The whole team is amazing, caring and professional. The prices are fair. I am a completely happy customer for 2 months so far

My daughter has been training here a couple of years now and loves it! It may seem overwhelming when you walk in, but watching for a few minutes you will realize that each station serves a specific function to help your kid learn new skills. I love the opportunities that my daughter has had for advancing up the ranks. Looking forward to competition team time!

their re-opening in June until present), and she thoroughly enjoys this place! The coaches are all wearing masks, and they are sanitizing the whole gym after each of the classes. It’s been a relief to keep something *normal* in my child’s life, and I’m grateful for this place!

My daughter was here for 3 years. Nothing but a wonderful experience. Coaches are wonderful, caring, and professional. Very organized and structured, and children that want to compete on consistently being evaluated to learn more skills and move up. Gym is very clean and well taken care of. Amazing gym overall.
