After years of nightmare experiences with other caregivers, Bluebird Homecare has been providing caregiving services for my elderly mother for the last several years. I was in the hospital. I couldn't do anything without assistance. I was basically bedridden. The Physical Therapist told me I was staying another day and then I would be transferred to Physical Rehab. A few hours later the hospital told me that I was going home that day and that I would have to arrange my own home care. I was in a panic. I was not prepared at all. My neighbor has been using Bluebird Homecare for three years and I knew she was very pleased with their care givers and service. I called her daughter and got Heather's phone number. I figured it would be a few days or the following week

Our home healthcare worker Shirley came to us to help care for my 84-year-old father, who was in the middle stages of Alzheimer's. She has been a godsend, becoming a part of the family in her care and devotion to both my mother and father. She cared for my father in the last two years of his life, helping him deal with his declining mental abilities and making him as comfortable as possible, always with cheer and love. Heather has been wonderful with my mom. My mom is 92 and her judgement is not always good. My mom has rejected some of the caregivers Heather has given her for no good reason. Heather has remained patient with my mom despite this. My mom thinks the world of Heather we have tried several other well know agency's before. Bluebird has been the best for my mom.

We have used Bluebird Home Care intermittently for 2 years. We have called for a caregiver on an "as needed basis"; the only requirement is a minimum of 4 hours. We have used two caregivers and both ladies were prompt and willing to do/help take care of my husband. When I call Heather, she always listens to my needs and she calls back to let me know who the caregiver will be. Sometimes, I have called on a short notice but Heather always is pleasant and able to meet the need.

I have known Heather Piner, Regional Director for Bluebird Homecare for many years. She came to Bluebird from her own personally owned business offering home care. I have recommended several friends contact Heather when they just need "some" to "a lot" of help taking care of a loved one at home. Everyone has been happy, and satisfied.
