Extremely happy with how the upholstery of our old furniture came out. Having furniture re-upholstered can be expensive and daunting. Lidia and Nick took care in letting me know if it was even worth it and helping to choose fabric that would go with a room that was not getting a remodel. Our dining chairs and accent chair came out beautifully.

Nick and Lydia did an amazing job for us several years ago - reupholstered old wing chairs with a large houndstooth fabric- the workmanship was EXCEPTIONAL - matching a very difficult fabric with all the angles!! The chairs look like new, gorgeous pieces of art !!
So now we asked them to recover dining chairs - we are as pleased as before!! They are so easy to deal with, talented, timely and honest - we so highly recommend Nick and Lydia!! They have the highest integrity and standards!!

My 20-year-old sofa was saggy, discolored, and the cushion fabric was splitting. Nick's Upholstery completely remade it, and it is like a brand new sofa! I think it is actually better than when I bought it, it is now very firm. Ian was very knowledgeable about the fabrics and helped me pick one that looks great in my living room. Highly recommend.

I used Nick’s Upholstery when he was recommended by our designer at the time nearly 30 years ago when we lived in the city. I was so pleased with the quality & craftmanship that when I decided to recover that same sofa because we were redecorating I turned to Nick again! Now mind you, that material had lasted 30 years & was still in great shape, but it didn’t go with our new color scheme. Nick certainly didn’t disappoint!! I have a 35 year old leather couch. The leather on the seat cushions was worn and torn in some places. Due to asthma, I am very reluctant to introduce new materials into my house. I took the cushions to Nick’s and they reupholstered the cushions in only 10 days. They are nearly a perfect match. They are awesome!

Not too long ago I purchased a couple of really comfortable but very old arm chairs from a consignment store. Nick's Upholstery reupholstered the chairs and they are absolutely beautiful. Not only did they do incredible work with amazing workmanship, but they also spent a long time helping me select the best fabric for my chairs and for the rooms they are now sitting in. I had a difficult job that many other upholsterers told me couldn’t be done. Nick was up to the challenge. His price was fair for what the job entailed and I could not be happier with the quality of the work. He completed the job in a timely manner and delivered and picked up free of charge (I live nearby but still a nice gesture). I love their fabric selection too, making them a one-stop-shop for an reupholstered, drapery and custom furnishing job. I was in the market for new sofas and needed 2 identical large sofas that would survive 2 jumping kids and a dog. Nick had a sofa that was the right size not the right shape. He was able to modify the existing sofa and build another one from scratch to match. Lidia found the best fabric that is timeless and very durable. I spent about two years looking for the right fabric for this chair and someone skilled enough to recover a chair with a "waterfall skirt". I hit many brick walls in the process, but went to Nicks as my last ditch attempt to get the chair recovered before deciding to scrap it and buy a new one. I was so surprised to come up with not only multiple fabric options, but someone with no concern about doing the waterfall skirt. We had a terrible customer experience & would not recommend Nicks!
We received a quote and picked fabric repeatedly telling Lidia that the sofa was upstairs in our den. We received a quote and put a 50% deposit down.
After the sofa was picked up we received a NEW quote with an ADDITIONAL $125.00 added on top of the delivery charge we were given initially, this was for a 2nd floor & "tight space"pickup & delivery. It also said if we didn't pay the additional they could leave the sofa in the garage
In 43 years in my house I have never been charged for "tight space
