There are two basic ingredients in hot mix asphalt. The first is the aggregates (crushed stone, gravel and sand) and the second is asphalt cement (AC) - the black liquid that holds the pavement together.

This is the second time we have used Apex Grading and Paving. The first was when then re-did our driveway and this last time was when they built us a sport court in our backyard. Both times great service and work. Professional, courteous, clean and overall GREAT experience. Our boys can not wait for the paint (Striping) to be dry on the court so they can play basketball.

What a process we've been thru to pave about 1/3 mile in our community of seven homes and long-time dirt roads. Lots of coordination that stated in Jun; interviewed five asphalting companies. Project was just completed five months later because Apex promised and delivered a quality installation at the best price. Drew was the project coordinator and was thorough from the beginning with the details that were better than all the other companies. Then Rob, the company president, visited our site to confirm the requirements. Really personable people, all of them. Final product is better than we expected

I received several quotes and delayed installation dates. Apex worked with me on a couple drainage issues, gave me a very competitive price, and came out to do the job within a few days. A family run local business, the Apex guys did exactly what they said they would do, worked hard and fast, and completed the entire job from start to finish in 3 days. I couldn't be happier.
