From painful sex to postpartum recovery, we provide virtual and in-person care for every stage of your life. To get results, your plan has to be personalized - to your body, energy level, schedule, and preferences. Hate crunches? Only have 10 mins? We can work with that. As your body heals, symptoms improve, or your due date approaches, your PT will adjust your plan to meet your changing needs.
Treatment wraps up when you're back to feeling your best. Every year, 40 million women suffer from issues related to maternity, menopause, and sexual health that physical therapy can treat and heal. You can meet with your physical therapist right from your couch or yoga mat (no, you don't have to point the camera down there).

Services
We believe every woman and individual with vaginal anatomy should have access to the care they need to feel good in their bodies. Our Origin story started in 2007 with the founding of Bebe Physical Therapy by Martina Fogt, MPT. We've treated thousands of patients across Los Angeles and are so grateful for the relationships we've built, the conversations we've had and the bodies we've strengthened.
Pregnancy has been compared to competing in the Tour de France for good reason - the strain on your body is extreme. While your OB focuses on preventing and treating complications, your PT helps you develop strength and flexibility for more effective pushing, shorter labor, reduced risk of injury during childbirth, and much more.
Whether your delivery day went as planned or everything went sideways, you've been through an intensely challenging and life-changing experience. Working with a PT to treat symptoms and rebuild strength will benefit your body and mind - research suggests that physical therapy may reduce risk of postpartum depression by 50%.
Whether you're struggling to have penetrative sex with a partner or you're too nervous to even try, you've come to the right place. Treating painful sex isn't just about pleasure (though that's a worthwhile goal), it's also likely to improve your mental health - sexual dysfunction is associated with both depression and anxiety.
Whether your abs feel weak or you see an odd bulge down the midline of your belly, we've got you. Separated abs - PTs call it diastasis rectus abdominis (DRA) - is common postpartum and can also be the result of overworking your abs. It's never too late to repair DRA, but the sooner you do, the better: If left untreated, side effects can include back pain and bladder/bowel leaks.

I had my second baby six months ago and had seen another PT and didn’t feel they really addressed my pelvic floor. I was very nervous for my first session and Dr moya was so warm and compassionate, asked tons of questions and explained everything she was doing and observing. It was a really great experience. I look forward to starting my sessions with her!
The facility was lovely and inviting.

I'm so happy I found Origin! I had been experiencing sciatica pain for over 3 weeks in the third trimester of my pregnancy and nothing I tried seemed to help. After my first session with Jenna I was shocked when I woke up the next morning without pain for the first time in weeks. I will definitely be going back and am also happy to have this resource for any postpartum challenges. The location is clean and spacious and I love the studio feel.

Origin is amazing. They have so many resources and are very well organized. They communicate often by phone, email and text, it is very helpful and I know exactly what is required. They are super friendly too.
I had my first appointment with my physical therapist Rachel. She is also amazing! I had a very thorough evaluation and I already learned a lot. I am really looking forward to working with her. Thank you Rachel and Origin!

Origin Physical Therapy helped me to get my life back! If you suffer from interstitial cystitis, or other mysterious pelvic pain disorders, you owe it to yourself to check them out. Darya has been an incredible and thoughtful therapist, and helped me to get off of mattress island with my heating pad and live a pain free and happy life.
Can't recommend enough!
Plus it's clean and completely run by women.

After months of going to different specialists.. i finally figured out what was happening to my body thanks to origin. I love that they made physical therapy feel less scary and made it fun. Everyone is so warm and kind and the dr. made me feel at home and relaxed and most importantly made me feel hopeful on my treatment plan.

I was so impressed with this place. It's extremely clean. Everyone there was super friendly and asked multiple times if I needed anything or if there was anything they could improve upon. It was very clear that they care about the comfort of their patients and the success of the staff members. Aside from the physical therapy, they seem to offer Pilates and massages (I went in for pelvic floor therapy but saw the other equipment). There is also some useful items for sale, including some pregnancy-prep books that I've read before and highly recommend. They also sell personal care products

This women run, women centered business is exactly what this world needs right now. I am 3.5 months post partum and have been going to Emma for a few weeks now. We have worked on rehabbing my core and pelvic floor and I already see major improvements in my whole body. She asked me really personal holistic questions so she fully understood my history, my issues and my goals. The office is beautiful and quite chic and they even let you bring your baby if you need! 10/10 recommended new mamas, soon to be mamas or women in general go and take care of you for once.

Fantastic place for women of all walks of life.
I started my PT during my second pregnancy and am still forever grateful for the guidance and accountability to help strengthen my body throughout the pregnancy to the point where I felt like I had more endurance and stamina in my third trimester than my first. I truly wish I had gone for my first pregnancy as well.
Since I've had my child I've been able to return for other physical therapy needs and it's been such a blessing every step of the way. It's also great to support women in the workplace!!

Origin and especially my PT Emma have been instrumental to my recovery with back pain and hip pain due to muscle separation after my twin pregnancy. Emma customize and track my progress helping me to sustain my improvements. Emma is also very knowledgeable about scar treatment which was a huge bonus after my abdominal surgery. She is absolutely amazing at what she does and a superstar as a human being. Origin even takes many insurances and is very affordable! I feel so lucky to have found Origin and Emma. I wholeheartedly recommend and confident that others can find as much improvements as I have

The care at Origin is exceptional and I look forward to every appointment!! My PT Natalie is amazing! She guides me really well on what exercises I need to do and how it needs to be done. She answers all the questions with details and patience. The space is super clean and very well decorated, it makes you feel so comfortable. Plus, they sorted out the insurance part so I could be covered for all appointments too. I couldn't be more thankful for Natalie and Origin for helping me on my pregnancy and labor journey. And I'm sure they treat other patients with the same care. Highly recommend

Dr Natalie, DPT is wonderful! This was my second time working with a PT and is a very different experience from my first which was due to a shoulder injury. I came to Natalie because I am delivering my first in November. I was uncertain on what to expect but was willing to try since I was experiencing hip pain from my pregnancy. I've gained so much more than increased hip mobility. I've learned about my pelvic floor, exercises and strategies on how to push and breath when I go into delivery. I wish I had found Natalie earlier as I found her late into third trimester. I cant recommended

I have never seen a Pelvic Floor PT, but having had a baby just over 3 months ago I figured now was as good a time as any! The office is a warm place to walk into, you’re greeted by a lovely front desk staff who is very knowledgeable and kind! I didn’t wait long at all for my new PT to come out, and she did such a great job of making what could be an uncomfortable experience very comfortable. Debbie was so knowledgeable, kind and supportive. I kind of can’t wait to go back for my next appointment!

I cannot recommend Origin PT enough.
Like all of the other reviews and women, I should have come sooner. If you're no stranger to PT for other body parts - there is most likely a disconnect between what you THINK pelvic floor PT is and what it actually is. It works on everything for all types of reasons - again, I wish I had gone sooner but my lack of experience led me to believe something entirely different.
After 1 month of 3 different misdiagnosises (from urgent care, acupuncture and gyno) I was in so much pain I could barely move. I found Origin PT on Yelp (of course!) and cried as

This is one of my favorite spaces created for women in LA. I started going to Origin for physical therapy for my back pain. I am now pregnant and I am learning so much through physical therapy to help me prepare for labor and being a new mom. This is a safe place that I feel so empowered to discuss any subject with my physical therapist. I highly recommend Origin!

I think all women should go to pelvic floor therapy! It's never too early or too late!
I learned so much with my appointment with Lindsey. I wish I had known more about this before I had my baby, but I am so glad I am going now and getting stronger and healthier before my next pregnancy.
The staff is wonderful - very friendly and kind. The space is also really nice. It's new, clean, spacious, and pretty.

I am literally singing the praises of Origin to EVERYONE! I've told my best friends, my followers on Instagram, even my patients (I'm a labor and delivery nurse)! I knew a little bit about what to expect for pelvic floor physical therapy, but the PTs at Origin have far exceeded my expectations. They're warm, kind, friendly, and respectful. I feel safe when I go there and well cared for.
Also, I get real nervous about parking in LA at a new place, but the parking situation here is great! There's a parking garage and then Origin validates your parking ticket so it's only

Incredible physical therapy facility for women. I started coming here at 20 weeks pregnant as I was experiencing back issues and wanted to be proactive about my health and prepare for labor. I'm already noticing positive changes in my back and feel more knowledgeable about my pregnant body. Wish I had known about Origin earlier!
