The staff is awesome and truly feels like part of our family. They believe in what they do and that positive attitude is seen by our Associates every week during pick-ups. It makes me proud to be associated with these guys. To foster a culture of recycling and composting in North Texas, provide outstanding service to businesses that care, and use our success to rally for good neighborship and environmental awareness.
Services
Recycle Revolution (RR) is an independent, non-landfill recycling & compost collection service and Community Drop-Off Center in Dallas, Texas. We provide "one-stop shop" recycling + compost collection to North Texas's most environmentally responsible businesses, consulting & project managements, events, and projects with LEED & Zero Waste goals.
We believe that such a place should be iconic in its welcoming spirit and steadfastness to do the right thing by the community; that it engender trust through transparency about both its own practices and those occurring 'downstream', even when no one is watching or when realities are less than ideal.
Here (below) are some of the kind things folks-including our Clients, our peers, and the press-have said about us over the years, as well as a few peer-nominated accomplishments we're especially proud of. Visit our testimonials page to read a little bit about what it's like to be one of our clients.
Some recyclers offer cash for "scrap", and "waste" haulers & "junk" removal companies are a dime a dozen. RR offers a larger selection of service and collection scenarios than any other recycling (or composting!) company we know of. We accept a larger variety of materials, including food waste. Why? See reason #2!
Recycle Revolution first began composting for North Texans (way back when!) in 2011 with our original Blue Bucket Program: a door-to-door collection service cobbled out of big dreams, a little red pickup truck, and a signup sheet half-full of our awesome neighbors in East Dallas.

We knew we were a little ahead of the demand for residential composting services in North Texas-most of the folks we spoke with at the time weren't quite sure what composting was ("you're gonna do what with my what now?!")-but we believed wholeheartedly in the benefits of keeping organic resources out of local landfills.

I was just looking for a place to drop off recycling, since my apartment complex doesn't offer pickup. I got so much more! I met Eddie, who runs the place, and in talking with him, my twins and I learned a lot about recycling in general and what this site does in particular.
If you need a place to take your recycling, I highly recommend this spot. They have bins for plastic, cardboard, paper, glass, aluminum and metal, all of which are free. They'll even recycle used electronics (laptops, cell phones, etc) for free. There is a charge for recycling batteries and styrofoam, but they will take them

Freaking AWESOME! This is so much better than just local recycling where I live. They'll literally take in single-use plastics, and I can also drop off my compost (food waste) at the same time. They do charge per gallon for compost, so be sure to check on their website.
You can also send them photos of whatever you have to see if it's recyclable before you go, which is incredibly convenient.

Recycle Revolution is a good company doing good work. I was able to drop off recycling at their center a few months ago and got all my questions answered quickly and comprehensively. We need more folks like them in the Dallas/North Texas area!

I've used Recycle Revolution for dropping off compost, e-waste, and contract with them for recycling for our business. In my most recent visit to Recycle Revolution to drop off an old TV they were kind enough to give me a tour of the facility. Walking around facility reassured me that the items I bring here are going to be reused and recycled as responsibly as possible, above and beyond a typical recycling processing plant. I'm so glad to have such a great recycling service in Dallas!

The staff is very helpful in answering my questions on what can and can't be recycled. My family really enjoys the week day compost drop off so we're not waiting for a pickup if our buckets are full.

Awesome place! Everything is so tidy, which makes for easy sorting. Love that they have a composting program! With so many renters in Dallas (and homeowners who don't want the hassle), this is a great option. Courteous and knowledgeable assistance available.

Small but very efficient operation. So glad to find a source for recycling styrofoam and hazardous light bulbs. Although they charge to take certain items it's everyone's responsibility to take care of these waste products. You've gotta love the resident chickens. ☺

I've dropped off my food waste here twice, and I love this place. It's convenient that I don't have to sign up for a pickup program or buy one of their buckets. It's not very expensive either. It's pretty central to both Dallas and Fort Worth area.
They also have compostable tableware that I bought.

First time visit. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have individual bins for plastics, aluminum, glass, cardboard and paper to distribute your items. I noticed people bringing other recyclables to staff. They take Styrofoam for a small charge. I’m so happy to find Recycle Resolution. I feel that my recycling efforts will actually be recycled and not end up in the landfill.

Recycle Revolution is awesome! They take all kinds of products for recycle. They do charge for some items, but it is a small cost to incur considering the effect some things have on the environment. They also offer shredding at $5 per banker's box. The people who work there are great folks too. Their hours are a bit strange, for example I think they close at 3:00 most days. But you can't find a better place to unload the things that hurt our environment and make you feel great doing it!
