This is my favorite place to come and eat Mexican food! The service is fantastic and the food is so delicious! I would recommend this spot to everyone. They have a clean and spacious restaurant and a private party area that will fit a good number of people! Convenient location right off the freeway!

Meat Balls inspired soup with vegetables and potatoes, served with rice, Beans and tortillas. Beef stew with carrots, potatoes, cabbage, and celery, served with rice, Beans and tortillas. Epitome of neighborhood Mexican restaurant. I've literally been going all my life. And they can do catering trays to serve large groups at home or accommodate large groups in the restaurant. I've done both and my guests have always enjoyed.
I've never had anything bad but their Chile Relleno is the best!

Nasty old chicken red enchilada was gross today - the soup is D- . The carnitas tacos was C. The shrimp taco wasn't that good. U get what u pay for here - since u can get a meal for less than 20$ that's why your getting lower quality. I would not come back again because the rice and beans are nasty. The only thing edible was the carnitas taco but it was dry and they have no salsa verde just rancid red salsa and pico de Gallo

I moved away 10 years ago and while I was in town for the wknd.
I woke up craving 524. I drove over there from W. Sac to enjoy some lunch.
Just like I remembered we were greeted with a smile and we were seated and attended to right away. The soup tasted as good as I remember, but the food was a BIG disappointed. Menudo was greasy and it didn't taste fresh. Pico needed more seasoning and peppers, red salsa tasted like pure vinegar and My enchilada platter looked preheated, definitely did not taste like I remember.

Make sure you have a couple hours to eat lunch.
The food was awful, took an hour to make a chicken quesadilla and steak fajitas. I've never seen or tasted fajitas like that.
It's definitely worth the experience if you have time to wait and don't might eating cold dry unseasoned boiled meat.
Go ahead and give if a try and see if you can find out why it takes so looooooooong to get waited on and your food.
Ps free soup while you wait.

Family owned and ran business with great customer service. Food tastes great and affordable pricing! Entree Portions are big. Came for dinner and left full and satisfied. I had the strawberry margarita on the rocks and Steak Loco. I went home with leftovers because they give a homemade soup with your entree which was also tasty! Met the owner in my visit and she is a lovely and friendly person. She was super sweet and attentive. They have a lot of seating. Came during Covid times, and they are now offering indoor dining with social distancing and taking all the safety precautions. Definitely recommend

This is my last to this restaurant. Worst burrito I ever could get. Looks like the person making the food just throw all ingredients and wrapped. Was supper cold. Tasteless and dry.
There was nothing inside my burrito which would convince me to come back to you guys.
Order hard shelled taco and came with boiled tasteless chicken.
The chips I got from them was maybe two weeks old
Salsa they served was blended to Tomato .
There is not even a single dish which had taste.
Not comming here ever again.

They have and still be making the best chicken Flautas with the flour tortillas in North Sacramento that we had yet. You better come and get you some of those and that ol school soup that have that you be smacking on with the tortilla chips, oh my goodness!!! Big portions for what you pay for and all. A whole let better then that over priced fake-azz food they sling at you over on Garden Highway. They do got some pretty views, but the food is boo-boo. What time is it??? So, let me get his straight. You haven't had a chance to fix your menu since March and the few people that are supporting your business and keeping it open are rewarded with false advertising.
You have great food, but I won't be surprised when you go out of business when this is how you treat your customers.
Our food took forever and then half of our party got their food 20 minutes before. When I aksed our waitress about it, she repeatedly interrupted me and was rude. I asked to be more polite

For those who know me, this is my absolute favorite restaurant. My friend took me here today for my birthday I haven't been in this part of town to this restaurant in seven years, though I have been a customer of theirs for over 30, imagine my surprise when they recognized me and made me feel so welcome!! I wish I would of gotten to see the owner Dora, hopefully next time.
I was pleasantly surprised that the food is still the same and delicious.

This is a go to spot for myself and my coworkers!! I always get the three item combo plate with a cheese enchilada, fish taco, and shrimp taco. We have never had a bad experience here and actually go for a quarterly dinner with the team I supervise. I love that it's conveniently located for us and it's generally pretty quiet inside. Service is always great and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. Colleagues often order burritos and combo plates; never an unhappy customer in our group!! (: Their salsa and guacamole is pretty good, as are their chips. I love their churro dessert

You guys, this place is not good. I've given it a couple of tries now and it's less than mediocre. Examples just from my recent visit. I ordered a combo plate with a chicken taco, chicken enchilada, and carnitas quesadilla. BF got a super carnitas burrito. We started with an order of guac.
- Guac came out without any salt. Luckily that's an easy fix but shouldn't have happened at all.
- The "minestrone" soup that comes with most dishes is flavorful, but the noodles are super mushy, like when you go to your grandmas and it's the third day she's reheated
