We took a total of 13 private lessons with Sophia before our wedding, from the very beginning she was great, she started off nice and simple with us and made learning everything so easy, she was able to gauge our skill level and added more and more complex moves until we had a beautiful 3 minute routine. Unfortunately nerves got to us a bit on our big day and I forgot to put my arm behind my back at one point, but other than that we landed our routine perfectly. Our final 3 lessons were her just correct minor things like posture and arm and hand placement. The night was magical and a few people

Honestly Sophia is one of the best dance teachers out there. She is patient, has an eye for creativity, and really wants to make your dream dance become a reality. Sophia worked with me and my husband through all the little hiccups and kinks, and boosted our confidence in our ability to dance even some of the more challenging movements. Sophia is fantastic! I was very concerned about my dancing ability. I suggested my fiancé and I take lessons to prepare for our first dance. Some things she suggested seemed way out our dancing league but she broke it down and we are confident about our first dance. She's knowledgeable and kind. We really enjoyed our lessons.

Sophia is THE BEST. My fiancé and I wanted to come up with a fun, high-energy dance routine for our wedding and couldn't have done it without Sophia. She helped us learn all the basic steps, choreograph the routine, and polish all the rough edges. She understood our song and what we wanted, and created the perfect dance for our special day. Sophia is amazing. We wanted to do something special and more than the traditional 2-step for our first dance at our wedding and starting classes with Sophia was such a good decision! Our guests were very impressed, and I must say we were impressed with ourselves as well!
We took 10 classes over the course of about 6 months. Sophia choreographed a dance to our song that we were comfortable with, but one that also pushed us to do moves we didn't think we were capable of. Sophia is by far the best dance teacher I've ever come across. I've worked with other instructors in New York and Vegas and it's not even close. She knows how to break things down so they're easy to understand and just exudes so much positive energy. The classes were a ton of fun and everyone was very friendly. Don't hesitate, just sign up. I started out with Sophia knowing very little behind the history of dance and how to actually perform the various types. After 10 classes, I am confident that I have a good foundation to start from. Sophia helped us with our wedding dance and was awesome! She will go at your pace of learning and will teach you moves that can translate easily to other music rather than just learning the steps to a dance. In 6 weeks she taught us basic moves as well as a choreographed dance for our wedding day. Although my wife messed up on a couple steps, I was able to fix it and no one even knew :) Definitely recommend using Sophia for all of your dancing needs!

Me and my fiancé took the ten classes and it was so worth it! We have no dancing skills what so ever and Sophia totally polished us up. She choreographed everything and made us look pro. My experience with Sophia has been so incredibly exciting and rewarding that it is difficult to put it into words. First, I am a 65 year old gentleman that has been power lifting for over 10 years, and although I am athletic I am not exactly graceful in my movements, I also have stiff and injured shoulders that make arm movements awkward at best.… Next I have one leg 3 inches shorter than the other due to a motorcycle accident. Sophia is a terrific instructor. She is able to break down the dance steps and make it relatively easy to learn the basic steps and then build a routine. The group classes are a lot of fun and by the end of the 45 minute group class we have learned the basics of a dance (different dance each week). We have tried other group classes and invariably the instructors would move extremely fast past the basic steps and try to cram so much stuff into the lesson that ultimately the lesson was just frustrating.
Sophia is also great with individual lessons and is exceptional about instilling confidence

Sophia is an exceptional ballroom dance instructor. She finds the best way to encourage and inspire you to dance. Her instructions are very clear and concise, and she keeps learning herself through different workshops to be able to provide the highest quality experience. Lessons are very reasonably priced and group classes(excellent) are included in the price of private lessons.Not only does dancing dramatically enhance your life, but it is a single physical activity that has shown to reduce risk of dementia -by 76%,of note, playing golf does nothing. So keep on dancing, it is so much fun!

Sophia helped my now-husband and I with our first dance at our wedding. She was so sweet and immediately made us feel comfortable, even though we had no dancing background.
