I'm Jess, a Wedding and Portrait Photographer based out the San Francisco Bay Area. Raw, documentary-style images are my jam, and I am on a constant quest to photograph people who love hard. I start my days with strong coffee, break for fancy ice cream, and color in all the miraculous in-between moments with my sweet little family. Jess recently took our family photos to celebrate our family of 3 as we await the birth of our second child! Jess was a dream to work with, was so professional and fun all in one. She was incredible working with our 2 year old, who very off and on during our time together. She knew just how to get her calm, and played little games with her that resulted in the most beautiful photos! She captured the 3 of us perfectly. She gave us just enough direction to help it look beautiful, but let us interact naturally. She also took great photos of me and my baby bump! Her use of light and color is amazing

Jess has been our photographer on three occasions--a couples photo shoot, our engagement pictures, and our wedding day. Each session was a wonderful experience as Jess is such a professional, warm-hearted, and skilled photographer. Jess quite literally saved our wedding day and was our reassuring and level-headed guide through the day. Jess was a joy to work with from start to finish! We utilized her for engagement photos as well as wedding photos. Our engagement session was a great preview of what to expect on the big day and helped to extinguish any nervousness I had surrounding photos/posing/timing. Jess was our gentle and charismatic leader, and while she kept us laughing, her professionalism allowed us to be ourselves and get lost in the moment. Jess Krueger is the best. Her warm personality puts her subjects as ease, and the smiles and laughs she captures are real! She has a special ability to pose her subjects (something other photographers I've worked with do not do) in the most flattering way. A simple "chin down" command really makes a huge difference in the final product. Of course her pictures are amazing, but Jess makes the whole experience really special.

12 days postpartum we were tired out of our minds! I had bags under my eyes and I could barely find an outfit to wear for our photoshoot!
Once Jess came over, all of my worries were put to ease as she was in no rush to get things going and went with our pace, completely understanding our lack of preparedness for the session.
Jess is super down to earth and her photos speak for themself! She's new to the Bay Area and I completely recommend her!
