My work begins with comprehensive Assessment towards summarizing problems and arriving at definitive diagnoses where/if relevant and with clarity.
Furthermore, I share my knowledge on Brain-based understanding of treatment targets such as emotion regulation, emotional reactivity, emotion processing difficulties, reward seeking, attention, impulse control, or executive function that involves organization, forward planning, flexibility and problem solving.It is amazing to learn how our behavior involves all these brain functions.

Pavuluri is thought of in the family circles of children with mood disorders as the Amadeus of Child Psychiatry. Her symphony of care and treatment is simply magical. She can figure out things with such speed and accuracy followed by professional care that is hard to believe. We have two kids that see her and we cannot begin to tell the world how lucky we are.

Dr. Pavluri is a remarkable therapist. As a firm believer in the value of counseling, and as an “experienced patient”, I admire the approaches that she takes during our sessions. She is both a scientist and a “talker”. Attentive and knowledgeable, while caring and mindful. I appreciate her use of “hand-drawn” visual aids as reminders of our discussions that I use to reinforce my feelings and ideas about some of the topics that we discuss every week. It will be obvious when meeting her that you are speaking with a brilliant, compassionate, warm and understanding woman with years of experience

Dr Pavuluri has been a huge help for me. She is very open and easy to talk to, and made me feel comfortable talking about things I normally would not, while providing great insight and guidance, I feel very fortunate to have found her. In our sessions I feel that we are really working together as opposed to me just talking the entire time. I look forward to working with her on an ongoing basis!

Dr. Mani Pavuluri has been a life changer for me personally, and has helped dozens of friends, family, and even strangers we have referred to her. Very few people you meet in life will possess enormous expertise combined with compassionate skills. We have seen her change the path of many children at their most vulnerable points in life. Dr. Pavuluri offers patients her expertise in the area of mood disorders as well as a deep desire for their restoration. We first met her almost ten years ago when we took our young daughter to see her. She was recommended by another psychiatrist because of her wealth of knowledge of medications and experience treating children. Not only is she familiar with the medical needs of her patients but she seeks to develop a trusting relationship in order to work together toward healing goals.
