We are Michael and David Steinman, a father and son team that own and operate Iron Roots Woodworks out of Brooklyn Park Minnesota. We found our love of woodworking over the years building custom furniture for our family and friends. Seeing the joy that our creations brought we decided we needed to share our love of woodworking with others as well, and Iron Roots Woodworks was born.

WONDERFUL!!! Overhauled my custom cut butcher block that still had life, just needed talented hands to revive it! Dave/family/shop embody concepts of 'custom' work, TRUE 'craftsman' & downright nice people that make doing business a pleasure! Focus wasn't on biggest profit, very fair pricing. Very enthusiastic about his craft & jumped into the rehab while I was still there - which was a treat to see! All rarities anymore..
Dave was terrific to work with. He actually took time to discuss ideas with me before even being hired.. (vs 5 other calls where I was told my job couldn't be done/annoyance

We recently received our finished game table from Iron Roots Woodworks. We have never been as impressed with a vendor as we were with Iron Roots.
Both Dave and Mike were fantastic to work with. They wanted to make sure the end product was exactly like our dream-design, and through their constant communication and dedication, they did exactly that. They kept us involved on every single step of the process through email and photos and invited us to come see their progress whenever we liked. Iron Roots Woodworks did a great job designing and building our kitchen table! Michael and Dave were amazing to work with! They were up front on budget, timing and process and fabulous when it came to design ideas and the overall feel and look of the table. The table came in on budget and on time. Ultimately we were extremely pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend them to others!
