My name is Dr. Dana Hotka. I am a lifetime resident of Iowa City, Plumb is my maiden name, and I grew up not far from where my office is located. I have a deep love for this city and its' people, which is why I could not think of a better place to give back to the very people that have given so much to my family and me over the years.
We understand that arriving at a doctor's office for the first time can be nerve racking. If you've never experienced chiropractic care before, you may not know what to expect when you come to our Iowa City chiropractic office for the first time. Filling out paperwork, learning new faces and names, and getting to know your way around the office can be an overwhelming experience.
When you become a new patient please feel free to print off the following forms and bring them with you to your first appointment. This will allow more time spent face to face for your initial exam. It is important that full intake and history be done so we can get to know you better and provide you with an exceptional care plan based on your needs.

Dana has gotten me through hard times many times. When I was sick and didn't know why, stressed out, or in pain - she always has answer that doesn't require me taking any prescriptions. I moved out of state and have been looking for a chiropractor as good as Dana for the past year, and it's just not possible. I see Dana every time I have an opportunity. She'll treat you like family, and always support you, answer your questions and make you feel healthy and happy again! I couldn't recommend anymore more highly!

I have been going to Dr. Plumb since she graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College over 3 years ago. I have managed back and neck pain from a serious car accident in 1971 through various types of chiropractic, and my entire body feels better since I found Dr. Plumb. Her advanced activator technique works well for me, and I can almost always get an appointment the day I am really hurting and need one.
