Services
The following medications are available over-the-counter and may be safely taken after 12 weeks gestation. The medications that are known to be safe while breastfeeding, are underlined. Follow the directions on the container and the precautions stated below. Use for mild to moderate diarrhea. Call your doctor if symptoms become severe, bloody, are accompanied by a fever and last for more than 2 days.

I have had an exceptional experience every time I’m seen at the practice. I have worked with Dr. Baum and Ivy-Lou Iraula. They take excellent care of their patients, including their follow up outside of the office. The staff that supports them should also be recognized as providing a warm, friendly environment. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Dr. Katie Chang; she is professional, knowledgable, kind, open, and understands that we're all different and require customized care based on our bodies and our preferences. In my situation she laid out multiple options and explained benefits to each. She is friendly and makes you feel comfortable in a doctor's office, which in my opinion can be hard to do. I cannot say enough about Dr. Kuhn. She cares so much about her patients and is one of the most pragmatic, calm, intelligent and intuitive doctors I’ve ever met. Throughout my wife’s pregnancy we never had a single hesitation putting full trust in her and the practice. The week of delivery she was incredibly helpful, open, communicative and more than willing to advocate for what was best for baby and mom. Dr. Reynolds was terrific. Knowledgeable, sensitive, informative. Great experience as a first-timer. I barely waited to be helped when I checked in for every visit! The staff and Dr. Reynolds were all friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Dr. Reynolds took her time to explain everything during my pregnancy and walk me through every step. The delivery with Dr. Reynolds and the Northwestern team went well, and I could not be more pleased with the entire experience. HIGHLY recommend it.
