Services
Some issues require written referral of a qualified medical practitioner. As a hypnotist my role is help you resolve everyday problems using hypnosis. I am not a medical doctor or mental health practitioner. I do not diagnose, prescribe, treat, cure, or heal any physical, mental, or emotional illness.
Some studies have found that hypnosis is over 3 times more effective to help people stop smoking than nicotine patches or gum, and 15 times more effective than trying to quit smoking cigarettes with willpower alone. Nicotine is addictive, but it's the mental habit that makes it challenging for most people to stop smoking.
Our conscious and unconscious beliefs surrounding food, eating, and activity are significant factors when it comes to weight loss and fitness. For a person who wants to lose weight, eat more healthfully, or get more exercise, the important moment is when you finally decide to do something about it and begin to look for help.
If you have an anxiety disorder, please consult a medical practitioner before using hypnosis. I use hypnotism to reduce the physical, mental, and emotional effects of stress and anxiety. I do not "treat" or "cure" anxiety disorders. Anxiety often presents as preoccupation and rumination, catastrophic thinking, social anxiety performance anxiety, phobias, and compulsions.
If you are suffering from insomnia, please consult a medical practitioner before seeking hypnosis. Lack of sleep can be a serious issue. While it is not usually a sign of illness lack of sleep has been linked to chronic issues, including anxiety, depression, heart disease, and obesity. Trouble sleeping takes different forms.

Not an exaggeration to say my sessions with John saved my life. I don't know if he even realizes it but now, at six months after a few sessions, it dawned on me that I may not have made it through without his help. I had pretty severe anxiety and none of the talk therapy, acupuncture, yoga, exercise, etc was helping. It was a very frustrating year and half of going two steps forward, 8 steps back. Until someone suggested hypnotherapy. I needed a reset to my trauma response and that's just what he did. It has truly made all the difference. There's nothing to be scared of with hypnotherapy

Excellent hypnotist. I visited John for constant anxiety I was suffering. We spent some time discussing hypnosis, what I'd like to achieve, and a bit about how the therapy works. I was such a fantastic learning experience. Once the hypnosis started, I reached my relaxed state and embraced everything John was suggesting during the session. I left feeling very calm and the calmness persists. It is not a magic bullet, but Im just at a different level of calm. And I notice the physical triggers of my anxiety. Going to see John was one of the best and most helpful experiences in my entire life. I was suffering from a fear of bugs/insects for a little over a year. After one visit, I felt like a brand new person. At first, I was up all night and would sleep in the morning, I would have severe panic attacks and anxiety whenever I saw a bug, and I wouldn’t wish that feeling upon my worst enemy. I saw John back in 2017 to help with a major fear I’d had since childhood. He was strongly recommended to me by a friend who went to him as a last resort to stop smoking. I went to see John in March 2014 to help me out with some issues such as smoking cessation, anxiety and self-esteem. This is so very helpful... I had a session with John for frequent sleeplessness I have experienced most of my life. I wasn't sure what to expect with hypnosis but was open to the possibilities.
