Your fireplace is a focal point in any room, get yours safe and beautiful with San Diego Chimney Sweeps. Finding a Chimney Sweep in San Diego can be a challenge, especially if you need someone quickly who is experienced and certified. We are pleased to offer online booking and usually can get to you in a week or less!
A chimney sweep not only keeps your chimney safe, it promotes proper combustion of your fire, whether wood or gas. We use specific tools to ensure the removal of soot, ash and creosote from your firebox, smoke shelf and flue. What a chimney sweep does is make sure all of these components are clean and working as they are supposed to.
A chimney cap is a very important part of every chimney. They are integral in helping to maintain the integrity of your chimney and actually have several uses, all wrapped into one important piece of equipment. The main purpose of a chimney cap is to keep rain out of your chimney. Rain and other moisture if it gets down your chimney can cause erosion and the build up of mold over time.
Gas log sets come in a wide variety of sizes, colors and wood types. If you have a gas fireplace or want to convert to one, gas log sets are a great choice to keep things looking natural while keeping cleaning and maintenance to a minimum. All log sets come complete with all needed parts and materials, prices range from $650 and up, installed.

Robert called to advise he was just a few minutes late, which was appreciated, and allowed me to reschedule my responsibilities, and let him not rush, and on arrival he was thorough and professional. He made sure that my fireplace was workable and most importantly safe to use after a long pause. All my fears of improper operation were alleviated, glad to have my fireplace back in one visit.

I scheduled a chimney inspection and cleaning from San Diego Chimney Sweeps a few weeks ago. I was very impressed with the service provided by Mr. Steve Kurts, he was very professional, friendly and helpful in ensuring our fireplace and chimney were safe and ready to use for the season. He even waived the inspection fee when we opted to have the flue cleaned. Communication was great on his part and the service was of high quality and completed in a timely manner. I had San Diego Chimney Sweeps come by to inspect and clean my fireplace. They were extremely professional and were able to make it to my place on very short notice. Robert showed up on time and was very respectful. He was very informative and explained everything to me. He also took his time to make sure he answered all my questions and was comfortable using all the equipment. I would gladly contact them again in the future and recommend them to family and friends.

Robert did an outstanding job checking and cleaning our fireplace and chimney. He was very thorough and explained all parts of what he was going to do. Our house is about 32 years old and the chimney had been checked only once in that time and I had some concerns about it.
Robert reassured me of the current condition after checking and cleaning the fireplace and chimney. He went up on the roof and inspected the chimney which was found to have some cracks. It was also discovered that the metal cap on the chimney was missing. He installed a stainless steel one to keep the cinders from flying

Let me start by saying that Robert has customer for life in me and if anyone within my family or friends needs their chimneys cleaned or fixed I'm referring them to Robert.
We were in the middle of escrow during the cristmas holiday season and I might have called at-least 20 people to inspect our chimney. Unfortunately they all were busy, but I'm glad I was able to get a hold of Robert. Even though he was busy as well, he understood the situation we were in and came out to do the inspection. Once we closed on the house he also did the needed repair and saved us some money by not needed

Robert provided amazing and honest service. Just had my gas furnace serviced and was told to get a chimney cleaning. I contacted Robert, and he fit me Into his busy schedule immediately, came by on time, and EVEN clarified that no cleaning was needed based on his inspection. Talk about honesty and integrity.

Robert cleaned our chimney and installed a screen in the fireplace to make it give off more heat. He also serviced our dryer vents. He alerted us to potential work our fireplace will need in the future but was no pressure as far as getting it dome immediately. He is very knowledgeable and explains everything he is looking for and doing.Highly recommended!
