I was finishing a photo shoot and coming across the city the other day and remembered I needed a spare key made. And right dead ahead was Mort Weinberger Hardware. I hadn't been there in a long long time. So I stopped in. And there was Dave at the helm. He's been there 41 years, started there as an employee and years later bought it. The business was founded in 1936
I've always liked the old fashion, traditional hardware stores. Nowadays they're fading away due to the big guys, but there are some old soldiers left. And this place is 1 of them.

Able to explain a problem and they know exactly what you mean and what you need to solve it. Not like a big box store, they are quick to ask how to help you. If they don't have what you need to fix your problem they will tell you where you can get it. Very knowledgeable on everything that goes wrong with you house and how you can fix it.

Cute, little hardware store. There is a ton of stuff in here so it's a little overwhelming. The owner is very helpful and this is our go to place when working on our rentals in the area. It's not in a great neighborhood, it's on Clifford/Goodman. I wouldn't come here by myself, but not because of the store but because of the area. If you ever need stuff to work on your home or projects and are in the area, I suggest checking this place out.

Dear Readers,
I'm writing to recommend a city-based business, Weinberger's Hardware. It's offered stellar service to my friends and me. I have no other connection to the company, but have been so pleased with the service I want other people to know about it.
Until, a couple years ago, one of my annual spring rituals involved having my lawn mower repaired, since the lack of use over the winter left the mower in a state of disrepair. I would of course discover this when my grass was already really in need of attention. When I called suburban lawn repair places, they would tell
