Our 4 year old joined kickforce after trying a week of classes this past summer. He was interested and sometimes not wanting to go after a long day of school. However, the instructors are attentive to all the children and individually. Once he was earning those stripe stickers on his belt, he was so motivated to keep working hard. At his first graduation, he was SO inspired. He wears his belt around everywhere and hooked on Kickforce. We appreciate all the team members who are positive, encouraging, invigorating and inspiring to EACH child/individual. We love seeing the younger leaders come help

My son attended his first class as a friend of a current student and loved it. He was invited to try it out for a month before enrolling as a student. In that month his confidence had improved, he looked forward to going, and he was showing improvement. We made the decision to sign him up. The team there is absolutely amazing. My son is not an athletic kid, but this team has worked with him and pushed his limits, making him better with every class. He has been training with KickForce for close to a year and the change in his confidence only is amazing. As part of leadership he is now helping out

We have a 7 year old that's been going the last 2 years. Not the cheapest, but I really like how they teach the kids and lessons they teach. There's a level of patience, respect and accountability that the instructors always show to even the most energetic kiddos. We interviewed a few places in the area and decided to sign on with Kickforce because it's evident that the lessons they teach don't just turn out black belts, they also help the kids grow to become good natured, respectful, dedicated young adults.

One of the best martial arts school around. Mr. Anguilar is fantastic and full of energy. They not only teach martial arts but also teaches how to be a better person overall. I really liked taking kids there. They are also fast in increasing belt level of kids which keep kids motivated. Highly recommended.

Brought my son here 3 years ago. He was shy and quiet, and got bullied at school. First day he loved it. He was introduced to the class. All the kids and instructors were welcoming. My son is way more confident and even stands up for other kids. All the instructors and staff are awesome. So glad we came here. I couldn't imagine it any other way. Thanks Kickforce!

My daughter had a classmate that was enrolled at Kickforce and it interested her, so we checked out the free trial promo. Now since my daughter is small for her age and can become very shy - my wife and I thought this would be perfect to teach her self defense and build self confidence.
Master Aguilar and his staff are top notch and work very well with all of their students. My daughter is proud to put on her uniform when she has to go to class. From watching her learn forms, to breaking boards and mastering her weapons - the shy and scared little girl is long gone!

This place is amazing!! My 6 year old son started about a month ago and all the kids are taught with positivity and great attitudes! My son absolutely loves it and definitely has grown in confidence. Master Aguilar is awesome and I love how he and their staff train with such respect and positive discipline. They all are so warm, personable, and welcoming and they make it a point to get to know all the kids and create camaraderie amongst each other with while training. Joined here almost 7 years ago and it completely changed my life. I was invited to check out their grand opening and was hooked on their high energy class and high flying kicks.
Fast forward to now, martial arts has evolved from a hobby to a lifestyle and it has helped me become a better person on and off the mats.
I am now an instructor at the Clairemont studio, a second degree black belt. I love every single day of my life because I get to inspire others through martial arts just as how it inspired me when I started out as a white belt here at KickForce.

Kickforce is a great Taekwondo studio for all ages, especially for my 3 boys (ages 6-10). Master Aguilar and his team of instructors really know how to get their attention. My kids have really grown a passion for martial arts and could spend everyday here if they could. From forms to sparring to weapons, they enjoy being part of the Kickforce family.

My son has been training in KickForce for more than a year. The instructors here are awesome, energetic and very skilled. They really try to make everyone feel like a big family. My 7-yr old grandson, Cruz, has been taking Tae Kwon Do since 2018. The main reason for enrolling him in the class was for him to learn discipline and self-defense. Being new to the school and community, he was bullied non-stop for 5 months at school.

My boys started going to this studio last summer for camp. They loved it so much that we ended up enrolling them twice a week. My kids went to another martial arts school and find this one to be their favorite. Master Aguilar and the staff are great with the kids. Not only are they learning Taekwondo, they are also learning important life skills like believing in themselves, dealing with bullies, communicating and respect. My daughter loves it here. It is her first martial arts experience. She has been able to move up in the ranks. Her teachers are great. They take an active role and talk about bullying and other things kids go through. I was surprised that she wanted to stay. Master Aguilar (sorry if I misspelled) is very passionate about martial arts. I think it rubs off.

Kickforce is a 30 mile commute one way, we'd be happy driving an additional 30. It's that good. What makes it different? The engagement and passion of the instructors and staff. No student left behind! Too often in classes kids will start daydreaming or losing focus, not here. Mr Aguilar and company have a way of motivating the class, keeping them energized and helping the parents understand what's going on so they can continue the training at home. It's not quantity over quality as other schools tend to go. The quality of instruction is the reason we drive 30 miles one way, and we do this everyday

I found this place via Groupon. What an amazing place, I had no idea! This is an ATA franchise studio. Mr Aguilar and Ms. Hallex make Martial Arts fun. They offer classes from ages 3 to adults. Every testing period you learn a new weapon. My child never loses interest or stops learning. He loves the Leadership classes where the the kids learn about self respect, belief in themselves and bully defense. The Legacy class is my favorite, he learns to actually teach and assist kids in The 3-6 year old classes. He has met so many wonderful people here. All the families are so friendly and welcoming

Enrolling my kids in KickForce is one of the best things I've done for them as a parent. I think every kid should learn self defense in case they ever need to use it. KickForce gives them so much more than that, however.
The owners, Mr. Aguilar and Ms. Hallex, are so good with kids and the parents. I don't know how they do it, but they get to know each of their students and parents too. They not only want the students to succeed at martial arts, but also at school and home. All of the KickForce instructors are positive role models and I'm glad my kids look up to them.

When I first enrolled my older son at KickForce, I had to fill out a form asking me what my concerns were and what I thought he needed to work on. At the time, my son had just turned 7 and had difficulty with focus, paying attention and following directions. I had teachers complain about him and I seriously considered having him tested for ADD. We've been here 4 months now and can't get over how happy we are to drive the 30 minutes, we live in Chula Vista, to come here everyday. We literally come everyday because it's that good. With each class my daughter is getting better and better, she's more engaged, her passion is stronger than it has been in a few years. There are no pictures of the instructors all over the walls, nope. This place specializes in their students.
This is also one of the first studios I've seen that cleans on a daily basis, the owners even help clean!

Yesterday during my sons leadership class, his instructor was telling about how he was bullied when he was a kid, and that if anyone was having problems that they could always pull him aside and talk to him about it.
On the way home my son told me how much he loved karate, and how much he loved his instructors. I asked him how it made him feel when his instructor told him about his experiences. He told me that it made him feel like he wasn't the only one. That it made him feel like he wouldn't have to always deal with mean kids.

My daughter is in the Tiny Tigers class and has absolutely progressed every week she's gone! Mr. Aguilar and Mr. Villasenor are both totally awesome instructors and really know how to interact with children. Coming from a Child Development professional, this means a lot! Every class is so packed with fun, discipline, and they learn so much!

....so I came across KickForce on Google searching for XMA-style schools. Our son loves being physical as most kids do so between searching for martial arts and possibly some parkour classes, we ended up here. We could not be happier and neither could he. I told him about it after scheduling a visit with Tara and he said he would just watch. However, when we arrived both Mr. Aguilar and Ms. Tara must have made him feel so comfortable that he just threw on the Dobok (uniform) they gave him and acted like he had been going there for years! He had such a good time that we signed him up!
