Services
We met in 2006 and quickly became pals over cooking, Star Wars, and of course, photography. Fast-forward 15 years and we're still best friends who enjoy riding bikes, drinking coffee, or making each other laugh with bad jokes. Being creative and running a small business is hard work but sharing that with a close friend makes a big difference.
Having the opportunity to photograph families is what started e&b. Through family portrait sessions we have watched newborns grow into toddlers and have seen kids develop into inspiring young people. Throughout these years we have created many lasting friendships. We provide maternity, newborn, and family sessions throughout Oakland, Berkeley, and San Francisco.
We specialize in shooting natural light headshots using the beautiful sights of the San Francisco Bay Area as our backgrounds. We shoot portraiture of small business owners, artists, authors, actors, personal trainers, and corporate office teams that are natural, candid, and full of color.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Chris and Christian! They are fun and easy to work with, incredibly responsive, and reasonably priced for truly excellent quality work. They photographed our wedding, and Christian was upbeat, fun, and easy to work with the entire time. My husband and I aren't the most naturally comfortable around cameras, but Christian put us at ease and had us joking around in no time! We really felt like they customized their approach with us, and let us be silly and ourselves around each other. The photos really reflect this! We're so happy to have beautiful photos

E&B could not have been easier or more fun to work with (especially while navigating rescheduling our wedding) - from the moment I reached out, to the delivery of our stunning photos. When looking for a photographer for engagement and wedding photos I wanted photos that would look timeless and classy forever and we got just that! Cannot say enough great things about these guys. We have two dogs, one four, one fours months. And one of my biggest regrets with the older dog is that we didn't get professional photos taken when he was a puppy. So I wanted to schedule some once the new fur child was fully vaxxed. I found e&b through a google search that lead me to their insta, which made it very clear that they are very dog friendly. And they had a nature + lighting vibe I really loved. They were great at communicating, and we met up with Christian at a park in El Sobrante. We knew the dogs were unlikely to be super cooperative

Christian & Chris were awesome - friendly, professional, and fun. The pricing was right and they captured nature so beautifully. I am blown away from the beautiful photos and I cannot wait to put the pictures all over my house! I have NOT liked photos professionally done in the past as I am not a huge fan of makeup and hair and I generally feel awkward in front of a camera, but Christian walked me though everything and now my husband and I have these beautiful photos forever. Amazing job at capturing our natural beauty and the beautiful nature around us!

My husband and I got married in March right before the pandemic hit and Chris and Christian were so great to work with amid the chaos! They were professional, thoughtful and we loved the work they did! They catered to our requests and were really easy to work with in terms of communication and flexibility at the last minute (had to deal with on and off rain). It was a major plus that they knew our venue area well and we could rely on them for their insight on best photo locations. We would recommend e&b to anyone getting married in the Bay Area!

We had a great experience with e&b photography for our engagement photos and wedding photos. They were a pleasure to work with throughout the process, and the end result exceeded our expectations. We had a fun time taking photos in different locations, and their familiarity and time invested into our wedding venue and engagement photo locations really helped to ensure we got some memorable shots. We hired E&B to photograph our daughter's big birthday event. They were easy to coordinate with, they showed up when they said they would, and the photos were amazing. They really captured the event and took some really fun, creative shots that showed their skill. I can't help but smile every time I look at the photos. We are hoping to do a family gathering and another photo shoot, I have already contacted them to see if they are available. The price for their services was also very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Our baby was growing faster by the day, it seemed, and we wanted to capture this stage in his life with outdoor pics of our chubby baby and his parents. An online search led us to e& b photography. We booked e&b Photography for our family photoshoot that celebrate my 5 years wedding anniversary with my two toddler age kids last Oct. Christian was my photographer and he is such a professional photographer. Bonus that he is also very good with kids. He captured our moments previously and the photos came out so beautiful. Christian has been an amazing photographer for our family. We have a toddler and she loves running around and playing with everything she sees. Christian was really great with her and she followed him around most of the time!

Christian is terrific. He is so calm, so chill, that you can't help but go along and then relax with the photo session. I've seen his photography over the years and have always been impressed, he works magic with the light. Both my boys enjoyed working with him immensely. I now have pics of my younger son smiling--and he never smiles. I don't know how he did it, more magic, I guess. And the pics are authentic, too, the boys look themselves, not frozen. I look forward to booking another shoot for the next year.

I stumbled across e&b thanks to a yelp search as we wanted to work with a local photographer. And, we're so thankful we found them! We couldn't have been happier working with Christian and Chris for our wedding in the Presidio in April. Planning before the wedding with them was easy -- we met for coffee to do initial concepts/timelines then we did a walk through of presidio as they had not photographed there. E&B photography did an amazing shooting our wedding on Sept. 4, 2016. Christian and Chris made everything comfortable. They were very responsive and accommodating to the specific requests we had. Great photos and great customer service.

Chris and Christian photographed our wedding in Oakland and did a phenomenal job. They were incredibly easy to work with, answered all of our questions during the planning phase, and executed everything flawlessly the day of. I love the variety of shots they were able to get throughout the day from our getting ready photos all the way through to photos on the dance floor at the end of the night. Chris and Christian photographed our wedding last month. We just received the final product and the photos are gorgeous. One of the things that drew us to them initially was their photojournalistic sensibilities -- we wanted to keep corny, moody shots to a minimum -- and, indeed, they caught truly special candid moments. Even in the posed photos (e.g. couples portraits, family group shots), everyone looks relaxed and natural, which I chalk up in large part to the really chill vibes the two of them exude during what could otherwise be a very hectic and busy day.

I was trying to plan a wedding in 6 months and working with Chris and Christian from E&B Photography was such an easy and seamless process. We met up with Chris and Christian before the wedding and they took time to understand our wedding needs as well as our personal styles. They captured lots of beautiful, candid moments at our July wedding. Chris and Christian were accommodating and shot photos in four locations on the wedding day (first look at the house, wedding party photos at a local lake, the wedding venue, and sunset photos at a nearby neighborhood).
