The Co Pilates is focused on physical and energetic healing. We offer intelligent movement programs based in foundational Pilates theory as well as intuitive movement programs that integrate energy work for a more embodied approach to healing. Conveniently accessible from wherever you are, our team collaborates with you to facilitate better awareness, connection, and ease in your body.

Our goal is to use this bespoke approach to help you navigate change in your body so that you can show up more powerfully in your life (and in the world). Services
Brittany Crosby is the creator and founder of The Co Pilates. As an instructor of contemporary Pilates, Brittany has been helping her clients connect the dots to achieve more efficient movement for over 15 years. Brittany's love of movement and examining the possibilities of the human body was ignited by her lifelong dance training.
The Co Pilates is an evolving space for movement for the individual and collective body. We are a team of movement practitioners and healers that believe the way you move in and relate to your body is connected to the way you move in and relate to your world. As facilitators in your healing process, we offer bespoke intelligent movement and intuitive movement programs to help you achieve your specific wellness goals.
This 75-minute session allows you to explore what an Intelligent Movement Program can look and feel like. We will spend some time reviewing your health history and goals as well as engage in a brief movement analysis. This allows us to cater the session to your body, as it is in this moment, while collaborating on a plan toward your goals.
This 90-minute session combines intuitive reading, mindful movement, and Reiki healing for a powerful experience that deepens your critical feeling and intuitive understanding skills. In this container, we explore together what your body, your energy system, and your spiritual guides have to tell you, and use core principles from Pilates and Reiki to integrate that information into your body and mind.
We are honored to be offering our work out of The Floor on Atlantic. The Floor is a movement studio and community space in Brooklyn, NY. They offer mat based classes in Pilates, Yoga, Foam Rolling, and Self Care. It also hosts ongoing Book Discussions, Workshops, an Artist Services Program, and a Civic Engagement Initiative.

I am a professional dancer and have had a chronic hip problem that ranges from uncomfortable to really painful, it often shifts my SI joint causing back tension too.  I went to see Brittany during one of the painful stints in February and I was blown away by how much progress we made in one session!  Brittany was able to help me identify and activate all the muscles in my legs that were weak because of my imbalance. I have trained with Brittany at The Co Pilates for many many years! Brittany has been a pleasure to work with. She has taught me how to listen to my body and transform it using skills to build muscle while also strengthening my core. As a 56yo, Ive watched my body age, and learned through Brittany’s expertise, how to work appropriate muscles that strengthen yet keep me safe from harm. The Co Pilates is an amazing find! The instructors are highly skilled and able to meet your needs, whether you are looking for therapeutic movement or athletic training (or both). You start with a comprehensive evaluation which helps both you and your instructor understand where you are physically, and establishes clarity around goals to work toward. I love my sessions at The Co Pilates because I've found it to be the best workout to build strength and flexibility with ease and a great experience overall. Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. I feel aligned and consider my workout to be more like a retreat after a long day. I'd go everyday if I could.

Great experience! Brittany is amazing: very kind and knowledgable. She really took the time to get to know me and my goals. She analyzed my body/posture and showed me new breathing and exercise techniques that I can use in my daily life and workout routine. Brittany's work has allowed me to be more connected to my body which has helped with my posture, strength training, swimming and running as well as many other areas. I had been struggling with a shoulder injury for over three years. I tried *everything* and nothing helped.
Then I met Brittany and The Co Pilates. Brittany has an uncanny way of reading one's body. She immediately focused in on the problem areas, and we began the work of monthly relearning.
Before Brittany, I was in a lot of pain getting dressed, lifting even the lightest items and had little and very painful mobility. I didn't sleep well because of ongoing pain.

I've worked with Brittany at Co Pilates. I can't imagine working with a better studio or instructor . Brittany quickly discovered my problems areas, gave me a GREAT work out and was really on top my form and movement throughout our session. I'm confident with more sessions the areas I lack in (strength , form, flexibility,posture ) will continue to improve. I was an absolute beginner looking to get into a regular movement routine , work on my posture, and treat some knee pain, and the Co Pilates was amazing for all three. Brittany runs a great studio, and my instructor, Adam, was wonderful -- so enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. I would absolutely recommend the Co to any other beginners looking to start out, especially those like me who may have some anxiety about it. You won't regret it!

My only experience of Pilates before meeting Brittany was a few at-home DVDs I ordered from an infomercial. I really enjoyed the workout I got with them, but I had no idea what I was missing!! After just one session with Brittany, I was feeling muscles I didn't know I had. She's incredibly patient, knowledgable, and funny. Our sessions are a blast, and I look forward to them every week. The Co has changed the way I view my body. I was able to use one machine, with the amazing direction of Brittany, to work every muscle in my body and to my core. Before having my first one on one session I assumed pilates would not make me feel as sore or as confident in my workout as in a traditional gym- I was way wrong! Brittany was patient with my movements and helped stretch my body to limits I was not aware of. The facility is nice and in an ideal location to get to from my apartment. I loved working with Brittany! I was very intimidated by Pilates before working with Brittany and she does such an amazing job making sure you are doing all your positions correctly while ensuring you are not injuring yourself. She really takes the time to understand how you are feeling throughout the session and custom tailor each session to you and how you are feeling each day. Not to mention the studio is always super clean and has an amazing view!

We all make new years resolutions to get fit and do more exercise, but I believe that health and wellness resolutions should not be made in the beginning of the year but all year around. Brittany is a true expert, and a pleasure to work with. She's well educated on proper form, customizing my routine to the needs of my body. She worked with my on movements to help manage my sciatica, so that I can tackle other classes and movements without feeling discomfort. Her studio is conveniently located in Union square, and is quiet, intimate, sunny, and serene. Let's face it, pilates can be intimidating (thanks, Madonna), but not The Co Pilates. If you've ever been nervous to take the leap into private pilates, don't be. For my first session, Brittany, the owner, sat down with me to learn about my exercise, medical and injury history along with my normal daily activity, then assessed my body type and movements while listening to my health goals. This strong foundation allowed her to create a plan that was unique to me unlike a lot of the trendy workouts that don't listen to the individual's body which can lead to injury or burnout

I can't say enough good things about The Co Pilates. I've been training with Brittany for about 3 years now and the experience has been life changing. Brittany's knowledge goes far beyond teaching Pilates. She truly understands the mind-body connection and she is wonderful at teaching. Her enthusiasm for pilates, fitness and health is contagious. I highly recommend Brittany and The Co Pilates, both from a personal-client-perspective (I have taken Pilates directly with her) and from a practitioner-perspective (I have recommended several of our clients to Brittany).

What makes Brittany unique is that she combines an intense workout with full-on education on flexibility, form, and proper movement. And she somehow makes this all practical, digestible, and, really fun!! :)

I worked out with Brittany to get more toned and to develop longer, leaner muscles, and I have sent several clients to her for rehab work (after injury), flexibility work
