Green Mountain Auto is my new go to after moving to the Lakewood area. They are professional, timely, and decent pricing for my 05 Ford. They were able to do my oil change, spark plugs and one fuel injector in a matter of hours after my normal body shop in Arvada gave me a two week out appointment for just the oil change. Wade was great to work with. Thanks guys!

Beware. I have issues with this place every single time. The only reason I brought my car more than once is because the have the smart start shop. This thing had died on me and left me stranded multiple times and I have missed a ton of work and had to have my car towed there. They will always try to say it was your fault to get out of paying for the tow so make sure you take a picture of your battery voltage and scan for codes before bringing it there. Once I got it removed the dash on my car was reinstalled totally incorrectly. It is literally hanging off on one side and the hood latch and fuel

I previously had some car issues, I normally use a major dealership, I needed my car fixed in a reasonable time, major dealership would take a week and would be expensive, I called Green Mountain Auto World and scheduled appointment, I was treated with great customer service, I also needed a oil leak fixed was told it was timing belt, however Green Mountain tech looked at leak and told me it was power steering pump, I asked when I might expect to have vehicle back, I was told that very day by 4:30pm, I also had a ignition switch fixed same day, the shop saved me time, money over $125.00 dollars

My 2003 Infinity G 35 had a sudden engine malfunction that was going to require a tear down after only 70K miles. I knew that Green Mountain was a good place to take my car, and was not disappointed. After an almost complete rebuild, it's running as good as ever. Great place to do business with. Below is a picture of my engine during the work.

On weds Dec 23 around 11am, I got a full service oil change (took about 5 mins). Almost immediately they said my antifreeze fluid was contaminated. I wanted to see but as i approached one tech added fluid...could no longer see the foaming. They speculated someone added washer fluid by mistake. I declined on the flush. The charge was $ 40.11. I returned 1 hr later to complain when I realized the other things they missed. The manager pulled fluid out in a baster and showed me that the antifreeze was blue when it should have been green (washer fluid is blue). 2 days later at Honda I learned

Brought a car in for estimate - prices were more than DOUBLE what two competing firms quoted. When I had tow truck pick up vehicle from shop, after refusing service, they refused to release vehicle. Had to contact Lakewood Police Department to resolve and inform company of proper legalities that they were in violation of. Kendra, the receptionist was woefully uninformed, rude, and combative. This shop is criminally overpriced, and they use thug-tactics for business. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

For us, its very convenient - close to home and walking distance from work. I don't like Lee Myles (negative review on Google a few years ago, before Yelp), and I doubt Discount Tire would be that great.
Green Mountain Auto World could be great if they were more focused on quality and integrity. They replaced a gas cap without a tether. They replaced a blower with a noisy one. Those little annoyances are not helped when they dodge responsibility.

Very bad costumer service. Said they found a nail in tire and charged $15 to patch without even talking to me. THen gave me rediculous quotes on things that needed to be done to my truck that I just had done six months ago. IT's like they didn't even look at it. Took 2.5 hours to get my oil changed and they didn't even call me when it was done. Service was terrible and quality of work was worse. Never go here!!!!

Read their BBB reviews. They will say something that is working needs to be replaced, charge you to replace it, not replace it, then recommend something else needs to be fixed, charge you to fix it, not fix it, then break something else, you drive away, surprise something is leaking. Endless cycle for this corrupt company.
Fortunately for me, I have worked on cars. The lies they feed to me for $2300! Immediately after hearing their explanation, I said just get me truck out of your shop.
If you tell them not to work on it with out your approval, they will.

The oil shop these guys run is great; I've never had a bad experience in the 3 years that I have been using them. The mechanics that have worked on my vehicle have without-fail come across as honest and kind. I've never felt like they were trying to up-sell me, which at a car shop, is saying something.
I had my brakes done by the auto shop and my experience with them was largely the same. It wound up being more expensive than the quote I was given, but I didn't feel ripped-off.
