Chris started work in remodeling, helping a family friend at age 16. Learning the value of hard work early in life, and being disenchanted with the prospects of living an educated life working at a desk, he lost interest in college and continued refining his construction, and woodworking skills by learning to build and repair violin family instruments.
Finally after tiring of being confined to a shop all day he decided to start a business dedicated to raising the status of craftsmen. I hired Chris and his crew do repair work on a deck that sits on top of a flat roof. The deck was in bad shape due to poor maintenance by previous owners and the roof had developed a leak, so the idea was to pull up the deck, fix the leak and then build a new deck. Chris quoted a reasonable price and his team worked efficiently to get the job done. Overall, the carpentry on the deck looks great. I did take issue with the way they did one thing, and though it was a pain to fix, Chris made it happen when I asked.

These guys literally saved me thousands of dollars. Everyone else wanted to replace some damaged doors that I knew could be repaired. My previous carpenter I found was MIA and I learned later would not wear a mask in my home. I emailed Chris and he was quick to respond, listened to me be neurotic about the job over the phone and then in person, and ensured me he and his team would wear masks (and they did!) Rudy, who did the bulk of the work, was great and very courteous and tidy! There were a few problems I found after they left but Chris and Rudy were back the next morning and fixed it right
