Originally from Fargo, North Dakota, Craig P. Vacek, DDS, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska in 1998. He attended the University of Nebraska, Medical Center College of Dentistry and completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2002. He graduated with distinction and recognition as the International College of Dentists outstanding graduating senior.

Dr. Vacek incorporated CEREC technology, which restores teeth using all-ceramic materials in a single appointment, into his practice in 2006 and XG 3D cone beam CT, which provides high-definition images while emitting the lowest possible dose, in 2012. Even though Yelp shows that I have only checked in once, I have been at Vacek Family Dentistry many times over the years. I want to give a shoutout to Lyle Straube for referring me. I have been in for several routine cleanings as well as to get several fillings for cavities. The last time I visited which is the 1 time I checked in, I was dealing with a serious toothache. Dr. Vacek was able to quickly identify the problem and write a prescription for antibiotics. I was scheduled to return to have a tooth pulled, but I had to cancel the appointment because of financial problems.

Growing up, I hated coming to the Dentist. I remember crying and being scared the night before going. I wish, more than anything, I had a dentist like Dr. Vacek when I was little. Vacek Family Dentistry has truly made me get excited about the dentist (sounds cheesy, I know) but I genuinely cannot thank them enough for the amount of money, anxiety, and pain they have saved me after I started coming to them.
