Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, she graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, then worked as an Intensive Care and Recovery nurse at the University of Virginia Medical Center and Jewish Hospital in Louisville.She subsequently attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where she received her doctorate.

Dr. Visanescu is a remarkable dentist that truly cares about her patients and their oral health. Every visit I truly feel welcomed by both Dr. V. and her staff and appreciate Dr. V's calm and reassuring demeanor and her ability to explain what is being done and why. I feel very confident in Dr. V.'s skills and very happy that she is my dentist. I would also definitely recommend Dr. V. for anybody looking for a dentist with no hesitation at all.

Thought my husband needed his dentures relined because he had a sore on his lower gum. They didn’t need relined, just a spot that needed taken off. I’m sure another dentist wouldn’t have done that simple of a thing. And she is very reasonable! And his gum healed!

I've always hated going to the dentist. When I left Dr. V's office I actually said I enjoyed my visit. She makes you feel as if you are her only patient. We need more dentists and doctors like Dr. V

A visit to Dr. V's office is not hurried like most medical offices but rather a calm, friendly time. She is our favorite dentist of all we have treated with. She is a great role model for our children who have grown up liking our dentist and not fearing dental visits.

I had been to enough dentists to develop a bit of an aversion to them, and then I met Dr. Visanescu and she has been our family dentist. She is without a doubt the best dentist I have ever seen. She is thorough, she is extremely good and she cares deeply about her work and her patients.
