Dr. Shai Patel earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Howard University in 2004 and went on to receive specialty training in advanced education in general dentistry in Boston, MA. He worked for four years at a large dental practice full of various specialists, where he gained specialty knowledge before opening his own practice in 2009 and later opening a brand new office, Precision Smiles, in the summer of 2016.

My visit went from good to great. The clinic is very new and clean. Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable and informative. He gave me helpful insight that I’ve never heard before. His staff is great. The tools that are used are top of the line fancy tools that I haven’t seen other clinics use. I’m glad to have chosen This clinic. It has a pleasing atmosphere.

Dr. Patel was our dentist before we moved away to Florida. Upon returning to this area I immediately reconnected with Dr. Patel. He is a great communicator and brings a level of confidence to his patients backed by his skill set as a professional. Best dentist I've had, ever! I was a new patient today having recently moved to the area. I was extremely impressed with my visit. The receptionist was sincerely friendly and welcoming. Nothing artificial about it. The aid that took my x-rays was competent and also friendly. Dr. Patel was in no hurry, ensuring I understood what he was doing and why. I won't say I will look forward to returning since it IS a dental office. But, I will say that when I need a dentist I will feel blessed to have found Precision Smiles.
