Formerly located in West Springfield, E&G Automotive has provided quality car care to customers in western Massachusetts since 1991. Since relocating to Chicopee in 2008, we've been serving the people of Chicopee, Springfield and surrounding communities with a complete menu of maintenance and repair services for all makes and models of domestic and foreign automobiles, light trucks and corporate fleets.
Automobiles have been in the Lubarsky family's blood for three generations. Eric Lubarsky's grandfather worked in a machine shop and also restored antique autos, including Rolls Royces. His father owned an auto repair shop. In 1988, Eric graduated from Wyoming Technical School with an associates degree in automotive technology, and in 1991 he and his father formed E&G Automotive.

E&G Automotive provides auto repair and service you can trust. We have the knowledge, experience and factory diagnostic tools for all makes and models from domestic to foreign. We specialize in Asian and European car repairs. We send you reminders when your vehicle is due for service, and often give a discount on that service if it's scheduled promptly.
Spring 2021: another thorough prepurchase check of a hybrid. Car was in great overall condition, but E&G made helpful suggestions such as replacing wipes & cracked taillight assemblies. Well worth the $110 fee. Fall 2017: E&G was recommended by my father & stepsister to check cars I was considering buying.
Auto Alignment is very important for the safety of your vehicle. Choosing tires for your vehicle is a serious decision. Tires can affect how your vehicle feels, how it handles, the way your vehicle brakes, the feel of your suspension, and even your fuel economy. We provide inspection, maintenance and repair to all tire and wheel components.
Your vehicle's AC & heating system removes heat from the engine to keep it running at a proper temperature. In the cooling system, belts drive the water pump, circulating coolant throughout the system. Of course, in colder weather the warmed coolant is channeled through a heater core to heat the vehicle's interior and defrost the windshield.
We provide Auto Repair for cars to trucks and everything in between, our services include diagnostics, troubleshooting, part replacement, and repair. We provide quality and service that you can count on. We are a locally-owned, independent, full-service vehicle repair facility staffed by ASE-Certified Master Technicians.

Excellent service.We brought our 10 year old car in because tire was squeelinand smelled.It needed a break job and a part replacement that was really pricey.They searched for a used part that saved us a lot of money and time .My Dad used to take his car there and so will we from now on!!

From brake work, to heater core replacement and extensive other repairs, I have trusted their diagnostics and been confident that their pricing is fair. Brian is wonderful and so personable! He takes the time to get to know his customers. He is always accommodating my need for a fast appointment when something goes wrong, and that has been quite often. Great service at E&G for several years, now. I continue to bring my vehicles here and have family members and friends that now do the same because the quality of service is consistent and dependable. They always have a loaner car ready for me. Reminder e-mails and text messages as well as a full report allowing me to review (and approve/deny) suggested repairs and maintenance (WITH PICTURES) is excellent! Lastly, I find their rates VERY reasonable. 😀

I started using E&G at least a decade ago and they were my first call this week when things went awry. I hope I don't have any further issues come up but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to call back.
The folks there were friendly and I was happy with their communication about the services-- text message updates were great! Best of all, my car went from undrivable to ready to go in just a few hours. The price was really reasonable price and the whole process was headache-free. I'll definitely continue to recommend E&G.

Brought car in for oil change and replace a rear light bulb. They did a full evaluation of my vehicle and provided a detailed review of what was needed in near future. Polite, helpful staff. No pressure to do more repairs than what I could afford that day and gave information about safe timelines to complete additional work. Provided quote for next service which is really helpful in order to budget for it.

THE BEST, SIMPLY STATED, THE VERY BEST! Bought a 2002 Saturn Vue, needed some work, brought it to my second mechanic, as I had fired the first over other issues. My back-up mechanic, as I needed an state inspection sticker was "Garv's" in Holyoke. After over a week, I was charged over $1800 for two front exhaust pipes, and a catalytic converter. Another $450 bucks for new plugs and an oil change. Got the vehicle back WITHOUT a new muffler, no sticker, and a terrible misfire. Our family recently discovered E & G Automotive after our garage closed due to retirement. We were worried about the transition after having been loyal to Paul and Dirk over at Teta's for many years but E & G has shown us that they are convenient and a great fit! We were very impressed with their level of customer service after experiencing them offering to take one of our vehicles for a sticker while it was in, asking if one of us needed a drive home and receiving their thorough communications via text, email and phone with pictures and detailed quotes. E&G is very customer oriented. They are accommodating on appointment times, and perform quality work at reasonable prices. If your car is still under warranty, E&G will follow the manufacturers service requirements thereby maintaining the OEM warranty throughout its life, at a much lower cost than having the car serviced by a dealer. If they discover that a defective part is covered under the OEM warranty, they will inform you so you can get it fixed at no cost through a dealer. I highly recommend having your vehicle serviced by E&G automotive.
