Services
Dr. Joyce Kim received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Microbiology and Immunology from UC Berkley and Dental Degree from UCLA School of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Kim received a special training in Advanced Pediatric Dentistry from University of Southern California and a hospital residency training from Children's Hospital, Los Angeles.
Some children are given nitrous oxide/oxygen, or what you may know as laughing gas, to relax them for their dental treatment. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is a blend of two gases, oxygen and nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is given through a small breathing mask which is placed over the child's nose, allowing them to relax, but without putting them to sleep.
Our practice is dedicated to the oral health care of children and adolescents. Our emphasis is on prevention and our range of services is comprehensive. This means we're concerned with teaching youngsters good brushing and flossing habits to ensure their healthy, happy smiles for a lifetime, and we provide all phases of restorative dental care.
Our office, as well as the The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.

Outstanding dentist's office. The front desk is very friendly and efficient, and the teeth cleaning is expertly tailored to kids. This will definitely condition kids to not mind going to the dentist. My daughter has been going here since she was three, and all of the hygienists and Dr's Kim and Chong are fantastic with her. Great place to start kids off on the right foot with the dentist

My 1yr old son had a great time! The ladies at the front desk were very warm and welcoming There are toys and games in the lobby and fun murals in the back. Doctor Kim was so patient with him and took the time to go over good brushing techniques and tips. The assistants went above and beyond to entertain my son & keep him smiling. Definitely recommend this office!

I had the best experience here with my two girls. Dr. Chong was so patient and made my kids feel so comfortable. She showed them all the tools before using it on them. Definitely a different experience from their previous dentist. Also, there front office is fantastic! So helpful with my insurance and friendly.
