Food was very good. Service was friendly but failed to check for 2nd drinks and a tad slow....short staff caused that. Prices a bit high...

Very friendly service. Seated right away. The prices are a bit steep but the biggest reason for the 3 stars was the food. The $26 steak was chewy, thin and I could barely cut it. The soup tasted like it was straight out by of a can. The fries however were great!!! Awesome music playing as well. Place has a very divorcée over 50’s vibe.

We stopped in for a cocktail and snack early New Year's Eve. We have been there many times. My husband and I ordered buttermilk deep fried eggplant and two bourbons on the rocks. The rock glass was half the size of their usual rocks glass and full of giant ice cubes. This is very unusual for the Packing House. The bigger shock came with the bill. They charged $20.00 a drink, when just a few days ago they used their regular rocks glass and free poured at the price of $9. 00. Shame on the management to take advantage of a captive audience. We will think twice about visiting this establishment

Wait staff were very attentive, place was busy yet we got great service. The meals were delicious as were the desserts. We have been here a few times over the years and always had the same service. Will definitely go back again.

The lunch menu steaks were kind of stingy. It took forever and a day to get our check. The worst part is that I have anxiety and it felt like I was in a funhouse at the carnival. They have mirrors on all the walls. On a positive note, it was one of the best old fashions.

Drove in for lunch from Grafton last Thursday. Great lunch, ate at the bar. I loved your senior citizen bartender. She was fun to talk to when she was not busy. We miss the big bowl of match's. I am assuming a cost cut back. It was great to return to one of our favorite Supper Clubs.

Worst service I have ever encountered in a restaurant. Went on a Friday at 1:00 p.m. Took forever to order an iced tea and then ordered lunch. An hour later I am still waiting. Definitely will not be coming back

Our first visit was a book signing on Thursday night with supper club legend Ron Faiola. No one greeted us upon arrival, their was no signage or any help directing us to the private event room. Finally informed where to go and finished our drink at the bar and headed back (hard to get a drink to start, the bartender came with the building, I think). Nice little bar in the event space and a very nice server manning the bar. Ordered a drink and met with Ron, bought his latest book. Menu was prix fixe, awesome bacon wrapped water chestnut app, Salad to start was good, I had ribs and my wife had

We just returned from our lunch at the Packing House on Thanksgiving Day and also my birthday. I could not have chosen a better place. Everything was well organized. All the employees knew their role. Service and food was outstanding. We definitely will be back, not only on my next birthday but anytime. Thank you for making my birthday even more special. Sue

This was a bit of a roller coaster for my wife and I. We were in town for a couple nights and this was one of the only non-fast food restaurants open on a Sunday night in Milwaukee. It was rated great, so we went for it. Getting there left us with some questions, as it's across the street from the airport and in what appeared to be not the greatest part of town. The outside could pass for a pool hall/biker bar almost if you glance too quickly. However, upon going inside all was forgotten. It felt like stepping into a fairly upscale steakhouse. The food was downright delicious. My wife enjoyed

Whenever we're in Milwaukee we make it a point to come to The Packing House. We've been here twice in the last two weeks. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms, shrimp cocktail and steak au poivre. All of this was excellent ! The service is also terrific. We've never been disappointed here.

Happened to be stuck in Milwaukee on a Friday night. The Packing House was recommended. We went and discovered fish fry Friday's.

We enjoyed the Cod and Purch. The fish fry was great. Happy to learn about and enjoy a Wisconsin tradition.

We came for the fish fry. My husband had cod/perch special. He said the perch tasted fishy. I had the pan fried walleye. I thought the fish was good. The batter could have been lighter for my liking. The old fashions are wonderful and the music outstanding. Next time we will go back to eating their steaks. The wait staff was not wearing masks and the tables were a bit close for this Covid era.

Date night dinner. The older of the two hostesses was a little dismissive when we were checking in for our reservation. We had to wait a little bit in the bar and with it being a Friday night they had some entertainment which sounded so good. I almost wished we could have sat longer to listen to him.

Our waitress was amazing. I think her name was Kayla. She really did a great job. The food was good. I ordered the garlic stuffed steak and being a garlic lover I expected there to be more garlic flavor but none the less it still tasted good. We got dessert to go.

Perfect restaurant for date nights or celebrations. Their steaks were amazing and service was great. The outside of the restaurant doesn't compare to how nice and classy the inside is. Make sure to make a reservation as they become pretty busy on week nights and weekends.

In seeing outside there was a super long wait which made me feel a little discouraged; however in parking and going inside their dinning room to be seated which is what our party did. We had a most delicious and wonderful experience with the Friday night fish fry and enjoyed the entertainment in the bar area as well. I would highly recommend friends and colleagues to go into the the bar and restaurant area to The traditional fish fry with Brandy old fashions and some good music to go along with it.

The food was excellent. We went on a Friday night, so the place was packed. Service was pretty good considering how busy they were. I had beef Wellington and it was very well prepared. The food wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. Definitely make reservations well in advance. The ambiance is straight out of 1972, with a lounge singer on the bar side.

Given this place's reputation, I was expecting better. I made a reservation, so we didn't have to wait. We had a seat in the dining area, which was crowded and maybe-not-quite socially distanced. We ordered the crab-mushroom appetizer ($13.99), which tasted about the same as something frozen from Trader Joe's. Drinks were fine, but slow to arrive. In fact, everything was slow to arrive. We had the traditional (cod - $16.95) and the combo (cod and perch - $18.95) fish fries. They were fine. Portions were generous, the food was hot. I certainly wouldn't call it "Milwaukee

Easy to order and very nice curbside pickup. They give you a time to be in the Night Owl parking lot and they bring your ordered out.
All that plus the food is good.
Perch was great. Baked fish good too.

So thankful for the Packing House drive-thru during the pandemic. A thanksgiving meal was priced at $25 and we received a hearty amount of quality, piping hot food that was enjoyed for lunch and dinner. The drive-thru was cash only and the process was well-organized and efficient. Based on this experience, I hope to try more drive-thru meal options in the future! Keep on keeping on Packing House!

Another fantastic evening at the Packing House! We decided to go for a Friday night fish fry. I absolutely love the ambience of this restaurant.

They had live music in the bar. We had 6 PM reservation. We sat at a lovely table in the main dining room and had a fantastic server named Bob.

I ordered the baked cod with a side of vegetables and it was absolutely fantastic! My friend ordered the brew town tempura shrimp with french fries and absolutely loved it. I got an extra dirty martini which was prepared perfectly. And for dessert we shared a piece of banana cream pie which I highly recommend

Ordered over the phone today, so happy The Packing House is open for curbside pick up and drive thru. The perch was delicious and also filling! It comes with 4 large pieces, saved 2 for tomorrow. Their bread, it has a nice salty finish to it. I was disappointed in the potato pancakes. I found those to be just eh. The clam chowder was great. My sister had the chicken Parmesan sandwich and absolutely loved it. We both agreed that the fries are amazing!
Yes, the drive thru line is long. You do have the option to call your order in and pay over the phone for curbside pick up. It was super fast and
