Services
The first birthday is the time for the first dental visit. Waiting until all the baby teeth have come in is not necessary and is often too late for children that are at high risk for early childhood cavities. Do not wait until your child is in pain or you notice problems! Your child's first visit to our office is the most important one.
The staff of Villalon Callis Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is well educated on the best methods to help your child have a comfortable experience during dental treatment. At times, due to extensive treatment needs and apprehension, sedation is needed. We offer a variety of sedation techniques including oral sedation, I.V. sedation, and general anesthesia.

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends an orthodontic screening for children by the age of 7 years. At age 7 the teeth and jaws are developed enough so that the dentist or orthodontist can see if there will be any serious bite problems in the future. Most of the time treatment is not necessary at age 7, but it gives the parents and dentist time to watch the development of the patient and decide on the best mode of treatment.
Teeth Whitening (bleaching) can enhanUce a smile by making it brighter. It first requires an exam by one of the doctors at Villalon Callis Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics to assess whether whitening would be beneficial. The whitening treatments are completed at home following the instructions provided by our staff.

Loved this office! Highly recommend!! Took my 2 (nearly 3) year old son here for a dental exam/ cleaning today and was completely blown away my our experience here. This was our first visit to this practice/… dentist (we saw Dr. Callis) and it was only his 2nd time ever going to the dentist. Dr. Callis was extremely personable from the moment she walked in to the exam room!! I appreciated the fact that she took time to really try to win both of us over.. especially my son and although he was hesitant she kept trying and when he wasnt cooperative she never made us feel rushed. The most epic dentist office experience ever! Massage chairs and coffee for the parents, arcade room, movie room, prizes and the sweetest staff. Camilla was the best- she made the experience, and Dr callis took… the time to speak with me about my concerns. I can’t believe how they were able to get X-rays AND a cleaning done on both of my little monkeys.
