The quality of work and integrity at this shop is what everyone looks for in a mechanic. They shoot you straight and do not oversell. I trust them to tell me exactly what my car needs. Their pricing is more than reasonable and they have even treated me well when repairs take longer than they expected/planned.
With such quality work, I have found that this is a busy shop. If you need work done you will likely have to schedule an appointment a few days to a week out. Which is the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.

If you’re searching for an auto repair shop, you’ve found your place. Premium Auto is fantastic! Mario (Owner) and Javier (Shop Manager) are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Whenever I take my car to them, they are able to quickly diagnose the problem and get working on it. While they are great at fixing cars, the best thing about their shop is the fact that they aren’t interested in gouging customers and making a quick buck. I live in American Fork and we were needing a mechanic to look at a possible car we were buying up in ogden we found Mario and now I wish we lived closer to him for all of our other car repair needs. Very professional, honest, and fast awesome customer service if you need anything done for your cars at in the Ogden area please Premium Auto best experience ever! He even followed up and to see if we purchased the van and how that was going for us and then months later he followed up again to see if you needed any other things for any of our cars Awesome mechanic!

This place is great, transparent with costs, and honest. Stopped by on a Sunday, since nobody else was open, showed Mario my radiator leak, and he fit me in his busy schedule. New radiator installed and system flushed by the next day. Truck running good now. It's hard to find mechanics as honest and friendly as these guys. Highly recommended.

Mario and his crew are the best in town, the only mechanics that i fully trust to work on my car! Mario is very nice and always returns my calls and always has time to help me with my car, his crew is also super nice and very experienced. This is the only place that i take my cars to get worked on because Mario and his crew are honest and professional and very experienced! And they are very affordable! Mario calls us all the time and checks on our cars after he fixes them, i cannot say enough good things about this place! Very happy I’ve found them!

I took my truck in to get the breaks inspected they had just begun squaking loudly. Javier the only person in, told me my breaks look fine they just squeak from rust and paint. But if I would like to replace them it will cost around 750$ for disk breaks on all 4 tires.
I took my truck home and removed all the wheels myself. Only the front needed to be done. I almost got taken advantage of and misdiagnosed. I replace my own brakes for less than 200$. I used to work at Mario's shop many years ago. He's a great man with great business. I'm just not sure what the shop if turning into.

Premium auto is the only shop i know I can trust The owner Mario goes above and beyond to offer a great in person experience. Javier was great gave me all the information I needed they are up front about everything and they take the time to explain what the issue is and what are the reasons the parts need to be replaced and gives you a breakdown on prices and give you updates every step of the way. And once everything is all done he took the time to show me all the old parts and points out what and where the problem was. Overall by far the best auto Shop in Utah

I feel confident going to Premium Auto. They are professional and are always friendly to me. Mario always explains to me what my vehicle needs done before doing it and tells me why. I feel like they are honest and do their best to keep my vehicle running well. I am able to get in and out at a reasonable time too. It's hard to find a mechanic that you feel is being honest with you but I feel like I can trust Premium Auto for sure!

I wasn't happy that they made an appointment with me and when I showed up to drop off my car already having made arrangements for a family member to follow me, they told me they had never ordered the part so we had to reschedule the appointment. I had confirmed with Javier 3 times that he would order the part and we were good for Thursday. While I was getting the quote he seemed to distracted and that he was just trying to get me out of there. I guess it turns out he was distracted as he never ordered the part. I had moved my schedule around for that specific day and they they just asked

I was in Utah for a month in May of 2015. I drove my car there and, on the way, it began to run strange. I prayed I'd make it to Utah and I barely did. I was recommended by a friend to Premium Auto. The owner, Mario, was happy to take a look at my car at no charge! I was already pleased with the customer service. He then told me what the car needed and why it was running strange. Mario and his team do excellent work. So many shops to choose from, but in my experience this is the place to go. I had him repair my mini cooper and my Yukon XL and they were quick and efficient. Both jobs were extensive: not just pads and rotors but control arms, emergency brake, engine light, oxygen sensor, etc.
Estimate was accurate: nothing increased. He only did work that was necessary, without attempting to upsell. After the work was complete he showed me all the old parts and described the different damage and wear.

Searched on Yelp for an auto shop & Premium Auto in Ogden came up. It was rated 5 stars so I thought I'd give it a shot.
I'm glad I went with my instincts! Got there with my hubby & kids to get an oil change on our van & was seen right away. Mario came over to put on a movie for my kids to watch in the waiting area while we wait. so thoughtful of him for that. The workers are friendly, very professional & knowledgable in their work. Mario really gave us a good deal. We went in for one thing & needed something else to be done. All in all, I'm recommending Premium
