O'Connell and Aronowitz is one of the area's oldest law firms, having first opened our doors with two attorneys in 1925. Since that time, the firm has grown to 30 attorneys and is one of the Capital Region's largest broad service firms with offices in Albany and Saratoga Springs. Our attorneys provide representation and services in a broad range of disciplines and practice areas.
In 1925, in Albany, NY, Edward J. O'Connell and Samuel E. Aronowitz, two young attorneys of different religious faiths and political persuasions, forged a friendship that lasted a lifetime and founded a law firm that, to this day, remains their enduring legacy to the legal community of the Capital District and the entire state.

Called to see if any attorneys at the office would be interested in helping me with a case. Speaking with Debbie the receptionist. The minute I told her what I was inquiring about, she immediately became rude and stated “we don’t handle that here” and hung up. It’s ok not to handle cases that your client is willing to pay for. What’s not ok is being in a “professional environment” and becoming rude for no reason whatsoever. The entire conversation lasted 37 seconds.

This firm took in a $10,000 retainer - did about $500 worth of work - then withdrew from my case. Several months later, and he still hasn't returned the remainder of this retainer. I requested it several months ago and still nothing.... The name on this post does not match the name on the case he was hired for - the firm seems to reply to these reviews so if you do - you won't find this name.

Pam Nichols was professional - but warm and easy to talk to. She put me at ease during the entire process of resolving our claim.
