I'm very grateful that Paragon Accountants in Banker's Hill was recommended to me by friends this year after my former accountant retired. They had a great experience with Erica Martinez (CEO), so I called to make an appointment straight away. I was linked up with Oliver Ng (Senior Accountant) for my tax appointment in February 2020.Â
I uploaded everything into their portal (super easy) a few days before and Oliver had everything ready to go when we arrived at the office. Our return was complicated having just started an S-Corp with 2 different businesses (2 DBAs) under it in 2019

Place was a total waste of time, 3.5 hrs to be exact. All I needed was a bookkeeper to close out 2017 taxes, 2018 and record up to date 2019 books. I have no idea why this was so difficult. I’m a business owner I don’t have time to create spreadsheets, organize receipts etc I need someone who can do that for me and unfortunately Paragon was not it. I need a place to keep ME organized, generate reports keep me organized because that’s what a bookkeeping service is supposed to do right. Easy.

Paragon was incredibly helpful - from start to finish! Taxes are complicated and become even more complicated when you get married (joint filing) and buy a home. Thankfully, Erica walked me and my husband through each. and. every. step. Erica was honest, informational, and personable.
