Between touring the unit, signing the lease, and coordinating move-in the two individuals I was communicating with were very quick, professional and extremely helpful. The process was seamless, it’s clear they care for their tenants. Upon moving in they did an inspection and found a couple of last minute items that need repair (very small, not very important items) and they had a technician out the same day

I have rented from VSM for about a year now and it has been a great experience. The move in process was seamless as our agent, Andre, was always available and was answer questions at any time of day, despite Covid limitations. Over the course of the year, we had 1 maintenance issue that was resolved immediately despite submitting our request at 8pm. I have also gotten the opportunity to get to know the owner of my property and he is an outstanding dude. All and all, could not recommend another company more for your renting needs.

Lies, Lies, and more Lies. If I could I'd give VSM a negative 4 stars, really I would!!!!!!
1) The ad for this particular building said parking is next door for $150, LIE. it is not next door, and the parking that I could get (day and overnight) is more than $150.
2) The apartment was supposed to have been cleaned, Big Lie, it wasn't, I had to hire a professional cleaning company to do basic cleaning, like the carpet. The walls were dirty, in need of a paint job. The cleaning crew said it was obvious that the carpet had not been cleaned in a very long time. The blinds had drippings and gunck

Posting a review, after trying to get in contact with VSM for months over several issues with the property. I would like to say firstly, the lease that we signed had stated a dishwasher would be included in unit. Upon moving in we noticed not only was there not a dishwasher, but the unit was NOT professionally cleaned as we were promised. We signed a lease for a non smoker unit and the stench of cigarettes lingered everywhere as the previous tenants were clearly smokers, however absolutely NOTHING was done about it before we moved in. Almost 4 months of living on this property we found a cigarette

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!
Along with my previous bad review, VSM real-estate has screwed over their young renters once again. After we moved out we were charged with upwards of $700 OVER our security deposit for items such as this... $900 for a new paint job, although they previously told us they were re-painting the entire downstairs (they even brought a painter over amidst the COVID-19 stay at home order to get paint swatches). $350 to fix a "crack" in the pedestal sink, even though this damage was present when we moved in, and is quite standard wear and tear for a four bedroom

As one post says, their real estate team is lacking in experience .
I have been in the rental property game for 35 years and I had to educate my agent on soo many things. One interested buyer thought there was too much work to do...instead of trying to negotiate on the price my agent just assumed the deal was dead. I personally brought it back to life and finished the sale.
On the rental side I do not trust all the legalese that would have been involved to hire them. I would have needed my lawyer to go over the complex documents.
