When I was getting my BFA in Photography, I realized there was one thing I truly loved to photograph -- people. But, I didn't like the idea of posing portrait sessions. Instead, I wanted to use documentary-style photography to capture people as they really are.

One of my biggest passions is meeting new people and learning about their unique history, personality, and culture. When I was earning my BFA in Photography, I realized I could connect my passion for people with my love for photography to create something really special. I could infuse my love for seeing people as their true, unique, and authentic selves and bring that personality to life through photography.
The photos turned out great and I hope these photos bring you some joy during this adventurous year. I've always known Adriana was an amazing photographer from looking at her photos, but I was still worried about if we could get some good photos from a family photo shoot for our family. Every time we try to take a photo, one of us is making a silly face, moving and blurry, or just gets sick of posing.
Adriana asked all sorts of wonderful pre-shoot questions to really get me thinking about what I wanted out of the shoot and then she worked her magic. In just a short session in the woods, she took all kinds of amazing photos from the traditional group shots, to the unique wackiness of our family

Not only is Adriana an extremely talented photographer because she is skilled in composition and lighting and all of those technical skills, but above all Adriana connects with humans of all ages and personality. Adriana’s energy and joy is infectious. I have three daughters, all shy and in general stoic with people they don’t know. Adriana was able to have them open up and show their authentic selves in a magically short amount of time. She does her research -asked us to tell her about our interests and personalities - so when we met she was able to use some details to connect to our lives

We worked with Adriana for a Xmas shoot with another family as well and Adriana was simply put AWESOME!
She was professional, great communicator and more importantly fun with 3 kids (2.5 yrs, 1yr, and 6months). She made the day and was a trooper through the expected kid tantrums. She was also flexible with timing and dates to get the right light and weather conditions.
The sweet gifts for the kids at the end was a lovely touch, and of course the photos came back amazing!
Overall I would highly recommend Adriana for her ability to be flexible, professional and FUN

She is the all time BEST of the BAY!!!!
This is our second year with Adriana - my sister was introduced to her after she saw my nephew's school photo which was so darling so two years ago, our family decided to do a holiday card photoshoot and have not been sorry at all. Some of the most epic family pics ever! Adriana has an amazing way of bringing the best out of all of us funky monkeys! Her energy and patience is what really brings the best out of all of us and she knows just when to snap that shot. Love Adriana!!!

Adriana is fantastic - she is a true joy to work with and her photography is stunning. We worked with Adriana on our son's newborn photos in the spring, and were so happy that we subsequently booked a mini session in the fall. Working with a newborn and a toddler is not easy - not to mention two tired parents! Adriana managed it all with grace and ease, and the results show it. She was prompt and thorough after my initial contact, was flexible in scheduling, and very communicative in following up with the final pictures. I can't recommend her enough, and look forward to continuing to work with

She understands how important the little one’s condition is for the beautiful pictures. She is approachable and flexible in working with our family to find a perfect time for the birthday boy.

We worked with Adriana for both professional headshots and family photos. Adriana got great pictures in both contexts. She made us feel at ease for headshots, which can often feel stuff - not with Adriana though! And for family work, she got our normally shy toddler to open up in front of the camera, catching the smiles and special moments we normally only get as memories! We've worked with other family and professional photographers before, and Adriana is definitely the most fun and pleasant to work with!
