Last night ordered Papaya salad and Wonton soup (no noodles). Small portions for both but hubby loves the papaya salad. Soup was way too salty and had only 3 wontons, a few carrot slices, large cuts of white onion and bamboo shoots. The wontons were yummy though, if only they added some bok choy or other veggies, and more wontons. And less salt.

Fawn's Asian Cuisine is a small stand-alone restaurant. We got there right when they opened on Saturday morning at 11 am. We didn't have a reservation, but they were quickly able to seat six of us easily.
I started with their crab rangoons. They were really large, freshly made and had a very crisp shell. For my entree, I ordered the combination Lo Mein. The flavor of the sauce was fresh & gingery! The noodle dish contained large pieces of beef, chicken, and generously-sized prawns. It was a huge portion, and I was able to take half of it home.
Great prices, and great food!

One of my favorite restaurants in Des Moines. Fresh made potstickers need to be ordered when you sit down! Everyone I have met her for lunch or dinner enjoys it, haven't had a dish I didnt like. My favorite is the paradise rice, rice, pork, coconut and other ingredients are freind in a big ball, then smashed and served as a lettuce wrap, with mint and cilantro .

Wife and I went to this Asian restaurant for dinner one evening after reading some reviews from Yelp and the likes. My wife chose the Chicken Broccoli (Over $10) and we had the Chicken Spring Rolls for Appetizer ($3.95). I had the Combo Pad Thai which included shrimp, beef and chicken ($10.95). I must say that everything was very good and we even asked for them to prepare the meals without MSG. Also, this is one of the first times I have ever eaten Pad Thai and not had to use the chili sauce. In my opinion (IMO) that says much about quality and food taste. Highly recommend to give a try if you
