Trupp's Garage Inc is a third-generation, family-owned shop serving Reading and surrounding communities. The shop is owned by Tom Trupp and has a longstanding history that spans over half a century. The story starts in 1928, when Tom's grandfather established the business and operated it through 1933.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Very little to no communication on what was going on with my vehicle. Couldn’t ever get a hold of shop, wouldn’t return phone calls or texts until I reported him to the BBB and attorney General whom he also failed to respond to. Multiple very expansive parts were replaced on my vehicle yet did not fix my vehicle and I am being charged for them.

These guys are the best! I had an issue with my 88 monte carlo automatic transmission. My regular mechanic couldnt diagnose it so I took it to Trupps. They had it diagnosed in no time, ended up being a simple fix, now it shifts amazing! Thanks again guys! Highly recommend them especially for transmission work👍

I had been going to the same mechanic for 25 years until he retired in 2019. I checked the Berks AAA for recommended garages and thought I would try Trupp's Garage and I am glad I did. I've now had 3 cars inspected at Trupp's Garage and have been pleased. Not only to they do great work, they are honest, and they are courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend Trupp's Garage to my friends.

Great Honest People!
I had been going to a different garage for 25+ years (Dave Rau), but he retired and now they have a different business model... gouge customers.
It was difficult finding another garage I could trust so I consulted AAA and read the reviews of Trupp's Garage. The reviews were spot on Great Honest People. The shop is spot less and work is excellent.
I highly recommend Trupp's Garage!
