Crispy fried onions or Spinach dipped in a chickpea and rice flour batter mix and deep fried. Just like Fried Pastry with a savory filling of spiced. Coated in a Manchurian sauce made from scratch (ginger and garlic, soy sauce, chili sauces, and vinegar), this Indo-Chinese appetizer is always a favorite.

I love this biryani place. One goat dum biryani and one chicken dum biryani are my staple here. Order totals about $31 or so. You get a 10% discount if you pay in cash.I drive down from Pittsburgh for this biryani more often you think I do. Their rice in the biryani is perfectly cooked and perfectly aromatic. I don't think dine is available as of yet.And as soon as you open my biryani boxes , at least I forget about clicking pictures.People at the restaurant behave well with the customers as well.A must for biryani loving people around DC.

My favorite Biryani spot in Maryland!

I don't know what it is, but the way the make their biryani here is *chef's kiss*! Whichever type of biryani you get, they are generous with the portions and meat. I loveee the "salan" sauce and pour it all over my biryani. I always ask for extra when I order from them on UberEats.

My husband has tried their curries, and definitely enjoys those as well.

Haven't dined in here yet, but ordered from UberEats multiple times and never have been left disappointed.

While I was there picking up some food, I was talking to a gentleman and we both saw a mouse roaming around. It was all over the place. Definitely not eating their food.

This is place is absolutely amazing!! First off, customer service was great; a really nice guy answered the phone. I wanted to try some new Indian dishes, so I got the Pakoras, Mutton Kurma, and Vegetable Biryani. All of it tasted amazing! The guy also hooked us up with some extra sauces, which were awesome!! Mutton Kurma: goat was so tender and the flavor was amazing. Vegetable Biryani: I never had it before and now I have high expectations! It was a beautiful mix of sweet and spicy, when you smelled it had more of a sweet smell and the taste was also a bit sweet but worked beautifully with

We looked up at each other after our first bites and both said, this is the best Indian cooking we've ever had, the equal of some special home-cooked meals. Each regional dish is uniquely spiced, remarkable given the range. We take out from biryani city every 2-3 weeks.

The short little man at the counter tonight argued with me that their Shrimp Korma main entree does not come with rice. After spending $100 on the order, you expect us argue and beg for a $2 rice? Completely ruined the experience. Read your own menu, the shrimp korma is a main entree which comes with a side of rice. He argued with me instead and refused. It was a disgusting experience tonight. I used to spend between $700-$900 each month at this restaurant. Rest assured, I will never again recommend this place or come here.

As a major foodie, I can tell that this is by far the best Indian food in the DC area. It’s authentic Indian food with real spicy food!

They are not providing dine-in services yet.

Aloo gobi, chicken tikka and goat kadai- all fantastic!

We asked for mild because my husband is Russian and the spiciest thing he uses is dill.... Still quite spicy for him. I thought it was good!

We ordered once from Biryani City and they make excellent food. Our second attempt was an utter failure. No phone number appeared to work; it would ring then hang up. The online order option from Door Dash resulted in a 17% increase the first time we ordered. We were unwilling to pay this again and would prefer to tip the restaurant instead. So, sadly we went elsewhere. We would love to come here again if we could order directly, preferably by phone. We intended to pick up the food ourselves.

The food is super tasty!!! Highly recommended. If you don't eat spicy food, no problem, bcz they have a levels of spiciness in their food. Order mild in that case.

We ordered for the first time after recommendation from my cousin! And we weren’t disappointed. We got the Indian very very spicy for the Goat Biriyani and Fish Biriyani and Indian very Spicy for the Chicken 65! Wow the flavors are amazing and yes it is very very spicy and I loved it!
The guy at the counter - maybe the owner was very friendly. Will be ordering again for sure.
If you do not like spicy you can order to your own spice level.

First, let's start with the positives:
Huge menu and friendly lady at the counter.

Ordered a boneless chicken biryani.
First bites were good. Until I found a 2.5 inch long, skinny chicken BONE in my bowl.

This is literally a deadly danger. Quality control clearly is not there. I threw away the rest of my $15 meal since I lost my appetite.

I may come back and get a vegetarian dish one day.

I ordered samosas and a chicken biryani for pick up. I love that they included reita automatically with the biryani! Their dining room is closed but they are open for pick up. The staff was wearing masks and a few of them were wearing gloves. They did seem a bit overwhelmed around noon for pick up orders. so there was a 20 min queue for pick up. The samosas were still crisp and hot, and the biryani was flavorful and spicy. I will definitely be ordering again.

Listen......

Indian and sushi are two of my favorite. As I was scrolling through Yelp, I came across this restaurant and decided to give them a try! I placed an ordered through the Yelp app for the Shrimp Biryani and Shrimp 65 (?). Both level of spice was Indian Super Spicy!

Because of my Caribbean and West Indian culture and heritage... I live for SPICE and SPICINESS! This place did not disappoint on either! My husband who is a questionable Trinidadian (he swears he loves spicy food.....he's in denial AF) couldn't handle the heat! Me on the other hand, I thought it was medium spicy

Not every place has goat saag so when I found out that Biryani city had it on the menu, I wanted to give it a try. I liked the fact that you can choose your level of spice. Thought it was kinda cute that there were levels for American mild, medium, and spicy. And for the more adventurous, try Indian mild, medium, spicy, and very spicy. We, unfortunately, are not adventurous and stuck with American mild for both our main entrees. I did like the goat saag and thought it was a good level of spice. The husband ordered the chicken tika masala and needed a gallon jug of milk with his entree. I took a

This place was the bomb. We got some Indian food and got a bunch of items bc we have a special deal. Gobi manchurian was one of my favorite Indian dishes. It's cauliflower but taste amazing. They have different spice level and we got Indian spicy and Indian very spicy for a lot of the items we ordered.

All of the food were on point and fresh. We got samosa, garlic naan, chicken curry, and some flavorful sauces. This place was super delicious but very spicy! 5/5.

3.5/5 stars :)

My boyfriend and I order pickup through grubhub and our order everything was included and nicely packaged :) We ordered a variety of dishes; paneer saag, chicken 65, chicken tikka masala, goat biryani, and of course naan bread.

PANEER SAAG
This is one of my favorite indian dishes, but this place let me down :( It tasted more earthy than I have had it in the past. It just wasn't as flavorful as I remembered. I love dipping my naan bread with this dish, but the combo was bland from this restaurant :/

(Oh and if the restaurant manager is reading this, can you fix the description

Good food indeed. Got a chicken biryani with garlic naan and chicken 65 dish. Naan could be more fresh. But still good. Biryani was spot on. I would recommend this place for anyone. No Dine in right now. They provide contactless pickup too.

To be fair, I had given them 1 star before even trying the food. Ordered over an HOUR ago, DoorDash delivery person is WAITING at the restaurant and they asked for 15-20 minutes longer.

We wanted to try something new (we were especially excited that they have indo-chinese), and I'd heard GREAT things about Biryani City. An hour and a half, though, just to get food out is TOO LONG. Our food was delivered TWO hours after we ordered.

We HAD to order biryani (it's in the name!), so we opted for goat, Indian spicy. We also got chilli chicken, shrimp pepper fry, crab pepper masala, and
