Closed. I’m still perhaps in a bit of shock over how all of this unfolded. This adorable house popped up in our number one preferred neighborhood just shortly before we moved into our temporary home. A home we thought we might be in for at least a year or so, as we had begun looking for our forever home well over a year ago and never could find “the one”. The listing said they wouldn’t even entertain a contingent offer, but we pushed because we knew we were awfully close to closing on our house. We took the chance anyway and with our agent's advice, we put our absolute best foot forward

Nancy went over and above in helping me both sell my old home and buy my new one. Right when I signed with her she had signs up on my house and had planned an open house that very first weekend. We had an offer in less than a week. I know this is very unusual and probably not realistic for most sales. She kept me informed weekly about the status of my sale and the purchase of my new home. There is no question about whether I would refer her to others, as I already have.

Nancy Hyske at Schaffer and Company was amazing! My husband and I were first time buyers, doing a VA loan and we literally had no idea where to start or what the process would be but Nancy walked us through everything and really helped us through the whole process! I had an appointment with Margo Cooke at the Schaffer office and she never showed. From what the ladies at the office said, she left to get a sandwich at Noon, our scheduled appointment time (she scheduled that time). We waited for over 35 minutes for her. Not only did she not return within 35 minutes but she never called to apologize or reschedule. Totally unprofessional. I have many friends and relatives in the area and have been sure to tell them all not to deal with Schaffer or Margo.

Working with Margo Cooke is like having your best friend watching out for you and helping you through one of the most important decisions of your life. She took care of us, walked us through all of the steps, spent an incredible amount of time and exhibited such patience all while making sure we understood and approved of every bit of it all!
