Honest quality repair shop. We were referred by a friend. So happy for the referral. We moved out of the area but travel from Laveen to Peoria because it is worth the drive to know that are cars are safe to drive and well maintained. I'm a shade tree mechanic. 95% of automotive issues I fix myself. Well about a month ago I got myself into a pickle with my wife's Chevy equinox. The car was completely torn apart and to make a long story short I was stuck. I called and talked to Christina. She was very kind and understanding. I threw all the newly purchased parts, existing parts (more parts than I care to list, it was ugly trust me) into the back of the car, called the tow truck and had them take it out there. I told them it was no rush because knew it would take some time. I'd say about 24 hours after they started

I do not trust lightly and I do plenty of research before choosing a shop to go to. I would highly recommend Kens Auto, Christina was who worked with me and she was honest and upfront with anything I needed help with from the get go. Very professional, very open with communication and reassurance, and very fairly priced. I personally will not let any other shop work on my vehicle after my experience here. If I could give 10 stars I would! Well worth any wait if there is one!

I brought my car there to get a pcm replaced. I told them what the issue was and he quoted me $900 to replace the pcm. I thought it was a little high for that but decided to just get it done. So I paid $78 to get my vehicle towed to there shop. After 4 days I get a call saying Ford doesn’t make that pcm anymore? He could of told me that before I had my vehicle towed to his shop. So now I’m stuck paying him $100 to tell me something I already knew. Plus I’m out $78 for the tow? He was not professional and I’m basically out $178 and I’m right where I started. I’m also out another $34

I have used this shop several times and always impressed. The pricing is very reasonable and they do good work. They will not charge you for something that they can't find and fix.
I had a Kia Soul fail to start after many tries, it wasnt the battery or starter or fuel pump either. So I had it towed to them. It started for them the next day, and they couldnt duplicate the problem. So they didnt want to guess and throw parts at it, which I agreed with. And it hasnt happened again as of yet.

I am the original owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima. I have always had my vehicle serviced at the Nissan dealership from day 1.
This car gets a lot of use as it is my "work car" and runs fantastic. I had a few more costly services needed in 2019 and unfortunately, the dealership estimate was way too much. I found KARS after being referred and brought the car there before making the decision to sell it. They were able to do the repairs needed at an excellent and fair price. And at over 190,000 miles, it is still running strong.

I recently had an overheating issue with my 2014 Ford Mustang. I have used Kars auto repair in the past based on a friend's recommendation and have always been pleased with their service,honesty and fair prices, so I went back again. This time my first trip in did not solve the issue so I went back and it turned out I needed additional parts to fix the problem. Because of my inconvenience or perhaps a diagnostic error, they offered to fix it for the original price quote without charging me anything additional for the extra parts and labor. I was very impressed with the service provided to me the other day. I came in not knowing what type of noise my car was making when turning the car thinking it might be the worst. I brought it in to them and upon inspection they were able to find the problem which was a few loose/missing bolts and a part rubbing against the wheel well. They were helpful in solving this problem as well as indicating another problems but were not pushy and told me which problems were a must need fix and others that could wait. I appreciate the service they provided.

having them do my 60,000 check on my 2012 Hyundai
Tucson...
today, i had an appointment for a serpentine
belt to be changed, because my dealer said there were
cracks on the belt. Paul grabbed his flashlight and looked
at the belt and said it looks brand new and he wouldn't
change it...he showed me the attached belt and it looked
new to me also...i appreciate his honesty and he and his
company are now my mechanics...i'm going to try and
convince them to be my mechanic for my Ram Promaster
chassis class B motorhome...fingers

Brought my Jeep into Kens to be looked at because it was making a strange noise. I was quickly called and told that it's my brake pads and rotors. Simple fix. I was sent a link to view their inspection notes and pictures. So cool ! I gave them the go to work on it because I was quoted a fair/honest price. There was no run around, no laundry list of other "issues I needed to fix" and I never once felt taken advantage of. Picked my Jeep up a few hours later and all was well. Friendly service, knowledgeable staff, unfortunately overpriced. If I was in a pickle I would come here in confidence that the product would be sufficient, but even the dealership was cheaper for some of the services I wanted done. If there was a competitive price point on services (Ie. not marking up the cost of parts to increase profit margins for services) I would make this place my go to. If I could offer up some advise to customers; do some research on part costs when you are quoted by them before you agree to use their services.

I just got my regularly scheduled oil change.
Ken wasn't there so I am nervous. The guys said my water pump may be headed south. I have not seen anything like a leak or any sign(sound whatever)to confirm suspicions.
Im sorry but a water pump is a classic up-sell for mechanics. "David Early" put one into my truck and it turned out the hose was leaking. The next morning I had to be at Alta ski resort at 6am after playing in a band until 2am the previous night. They didn't change the hose. I lost fluid and-red lined my engine in my sleepy state of mind. Yea! New engine. Now

We brought in our '09 Forester with a mysterious error code that other mechanics struggled to remedy. KARS took the time to fully diagnose the problem, running some extra tests that they could've charged me extra for. The end result was the need to replace a failing catalytic converter; more expensive than I'd hoped for but they explained the part chosen for replacement and gave us a discount.
The vehicle is running smooth and there are no error lights!

Ken and his team are HONEST and have INTEGRITY. It is a pleasure to do business with a company that serves clients like friends and family. A problem that could have cost over $500 for a fuel pump was resolved with a simple fix. I cannot speak more highly of this team. This was not our first visit, but even that visit three years ago left a positive impression as we had just relocated here from Austin.

We chose Ken's based on YELP reviews and we are so glad we did. We recently purchased a used vehicle for our daughter and wanted to know what needed to be done and what the priorities are. Since my last review, I have been back to Kens about 3 more times.
I have had oil changes, and had a small coolant leak fixed.
I also need to have my supercharger sent back to Procharger to be rebuilt, as the previous owner neglected it to no end.
Kens took care of everything.
I was sad to see Silas at the front desk leave, but I'm sure his replacement,( Rose I believe), will be great as well!
