I made an appt for an oil change and new used car check before driving it across the country. They discovered a bad wheel bearing and were able to get it replaced early the next day so I could get on the road.

Was looking for a local shop to take care of my Mini's needs and found this place. Service was great and the people were friendly. They performed well on everything that I've asked for and the labor cost was about average or better than other shops. I'll continue to do business here just as long as I can get an appointment, because they do book up quickly!

I was having a rough day. My battery went complete, to the point it was smoking and melting the terminal away on a Friday afternoon. I have AAA and the battery service they offer couldn't do anything with it. I needed a tow. I tried my own local garages (I'm a commuter to Harrisburg), and it was 2 weeks wait everywhere. AAA suggested Harkins to me. I give them a call, and they were able to hook me up the same day! Not only that, but after waiting 2.5 hours on a tow, and a friend getting me to Harkins, Rick went and got my car himself and fixed me up and got me home. Not only did they save my day

First, the website is awesome. Provided enough information to make me feel they could possibly handle the job (timing chain Acura). They had an area for comments and replied the next day. Listened to my concerns regarding issues I had already been given in previous estimate. While they could not commit without actually evaluating vehicle, they gave enough information so I felt led to have my car towed to them. Evaluation was made and they called with the issue and what the solution would be..all concerns/questions answered and a complete detailed explanation was given as to what was necessary to

The staff at Harkins was very helpful in getting me in as a first time customer with no appointment because of an emergency thing with my car. Love the retro feel of the shop and everyone I met there was very pleasant. Seems like they really care about the vehicles they work on and take the time to discuss what’s happening with your car.
