I like this place alot,
I perfer the vegetable or shrimp egg rolls.
The wonton soup is great.
I also like the shrimp with broccoli add mushrooms and carrots.
I dont like the spicy chicken or spicy shrimp.
Or the fried shrimp the fried shrimp is ok not bad..
just not great lols.
kinda good homemade ish.
This is more of a home made tell them how u want it kinda place .
I haven't tryed much else cuz im mostly vegetarian or only eat pork and shrimp. So i have a limited pallete either way
this place is pretty good i like it the food doesn't bother me
and i have bad allergies.

Wonderful family owned & operated mom & pop shop. Parents cooking, kids run the front. Loved by local’s! You can taste the love put into every dish that is custom made to order! Chef prepares each sauce from scratch, meat is house marinated and roasted!

Got charged $28 for bourbon chicken, s&s chicken and small vegetable lo mein! Bourbon chicken was dry and smelly so trashed it. Don't treat people like that not a good look ever and will not return.

Delicious!!! Always a go-to for me!!! Chicken lo mein is great, and their chicken on a stick is the best around!

First time ordering from here. Sweet and sour chicken came with no sweet and sour sauce and the General Tso didn't have much spice to it. Fried rice wasn't really fried either. $40 not well spent.

We order takeout here at least once a month. It is soo good and affordable and has very generous portions. I didn't even get a picture of our food before it was halfway gone. Expect at least 20 crab Rangoons in your order for only like $5. The food is ready by the time I drive up may to pick it up. This is our staple local restaurant for Chinese food. Will try to take pictures next time!

I had a gift certificate from Uber Eats and being lazy and not wanting to cook, we decided to use it.

I was surprised that the delivery was 25 min instead of the 65 min I was told when I ordered. Surprisingly, the food was still warm when it arrived and I must say there was enough for lunch the next day.

I ordered the shrimp with garlic sauce. More than enough for two meals and it was seasoned well and tasted good. Was it the most amazing Chinese food I have eaten. No. Still, it was a nice change from where we usually order.

My partner got hot and spicy chicken. He said it was "OK"

Nice and friendly staff, food is always hot and quick! The quality of the food, from rice to chicken sticks, are better than other options like China House. Very clean and sanitary! I go out of my way to order my food here! I would give more stars if possible

A bunch of us nurses ordered China river on thanksgiving and it did not disappoint. Your typical Chinese takeout. No complaints.

We went there this Saturday night. After we got home with our order we realized it was wrong returned our entire order to them for a refund. The girl taking our order was very rude and inattentive. They gave us 3 items we didn't order. Left off our main item. Did not package hot item correctly and I burned my hand when I tried to reach for it in the bag not aware that the lid was loose. Not all employees were wearing masks. The man there was argumentative about everything.. Would have helped if we had gotten an apology or at the very least asked us to give them a chance to do better. Very

Had lunch there and it was wonderful. Food was cooked fresh and made to order per our request. Was delicious!! Highly recommend. The broccoli beef was so tender not chewy or oily like Most places. The egg rolls were crispy, the house made sweet and sour sauce was perfect as were the house made crab rangoons. They have taken all necessary safety health precautions per CDC and then some. Lunch special is only 6.25 and very filling!!!! Customer service was extremely helpful and polite

This is our go to Chinese take-out choice! After trying several different options around the metro, we were more than pleasantly surprised with the flavor and quality of China River. We have ordered several times, our favorite dishes being Mongolian beef and General Tso's chicken with fried rice, our orders are consistently ready within 15 minutes and always delicious. The staff is super friendly and always makes sure you have all the things you may need for your meal. 5/5 would recommend

Good hot food. Fast service. No delivery but Ardmore is so small any how that you don't need it. Portions are huge. Can eat on this for a few meals and prices are reasonable. Small eating area inside if you choose to hang out there. To go is best.

My favorite Chinese in the area, tons of food at a great price. The egg roll was on point, but the fried rice was not pan seared as I'm used to in most places i have eaten (still good). I always get the general tsos chicken to test a Chinese restaurant, it's basically however they want to make it considering it's a different dish everywhere you go. They did a good job of passing the test. Orange chicken actually tastes of orange zest, which isn't as pronounced usually. Overall I'll be going back to try more traditional Chinese cuisine here and looking forward to it.

Came here for a quick lunch and ordered Kung pao chicken. I'm very weird about my kung pao. I like my chicken in small pieces. Not the big chicken pieces that some Chinese restaurants like to give. It needs to be cooked right. I've perhaps been spoiled at my favourite Chinese place (can't name it here). I feel like most places come very far behind when it comes to good Kung pao chicken. I didnt expect miracles but I hoped it was decent for a $6 meal combo. The price was excellent! The combo came with your choice of egg roll or soup... I wanted soup. It comes with pork fried rice

OK, I need to clarify this..by calling it "takeout" I mean the Americanized version, chicken often breaded, sticky and sweet..Not authentic. I'm one of the few it seems that enjoys both types. Sometimes I crave my chicken sweet and breaded, so sue me. That being said, back to my original review...

Very good Chinese takeout with large portions and excellent value. General Tso's is some of the better I've had in OKC..sweet, spicy with the vinegar kick all equally covered. It was overbreaded some and a bit mild, but definitely on the right track. They said I can customize

China River is the Village gem of Chinese takeout. Owned and operated by a local small family, the establishment will sat sift all of your Chinese takeout desires.

I find myself overcome by gastrointestinal discomfort after frequenting most other Chinese takeout places. But China River has never quickened my bowels.

I enjoy the fried dumplings, beef lo mein, and broccoli beef. I have never ordered delivery. The staff have always been kind and friendly.
