Danica did an amazing job selling our house and helping us find our home almost exactly one year ago. She is stellar not only at the ins and outs of real estate during a crazy fast-paced market, but also at being a kind & loving friend. After taking senior pictures for my nephew Spencer, I thought I would be more prepared for Brandon's.
Nope! It was such a joy to spend not only this session, but the whole week with him while my brother had surgery. They got a 1968 Mustang earlier this year, so of course we had to take some shots out at Kelley Farm with her. A few were in the backyard with Liesl, our favorite German Shepherd. I was filled with love for this kid when he was a little baby, and it's just grown every year since then.

This is no small feat, and yet the photos that we end up hanging on our walls are beautiful reminders of the people I don't get to see every day. Often we believe that professional pictures are reserved for special occasions: weddings, births, engagements. Life is made up of these in-between moments, and I hope to capture them just as they are: fully in their authentic beauty.
Honestly, the pictures we have today help me to remember all of those other details that were so meaningful for our special day. From our lovely flowers to the people who were surrounding us with encouragement, it was a day I can remember even more clearly because of those little moments that are framed on our walls.
